15206917 tn?1441194009 Okay, I read the first few comments and that was all I needed before skipping through the rest to comment! The first thing I want to say is this: Nasty, rude and unsympathetic people are what led me astray from posting here!! I am still here and still reading! What happened to the forum and group of people that cared deeply about an individual period!??? The uplifting support and amount of Love shown for an individual stranger?? I am appalled by some of these comments!
Avatar f tn Then at the end of Oct this year they were told he was a diabetic. It has turned out that the diabetic is caused by a tumour, a cancerous tumour. He has been diagnoised with Neurblastoma (most aggressively form of childhood cancer and also know as the sneeky cancer). He is stage IV. The tumour is 14cms in his abdomen, a gland in his chest, a glad in his neck and the his spine are all affected. Very poor prognosis.
393685 tn?1425816122 If I can be of any help out there to any parent who may be freaking out over a hypothyroid child please get in touch. I have been walking these shoes for awhile now, and you may be just beginning! Support and a shoulder can help so much.
Avatar n tn There is something in my body chemistry that apparently changed since this was not an issue a few years back- it's not a matter of anything external like lotions or the soap I use. Not diabetic- I do have acid reflux and coincidentally I think the issue may have been around about the same amount of time as the acid reflux although I don't believe that could be it or everyone with acid reflux would atract insects- but I could be wrong.
Avatar m tn He'd really suffered enough at that point. The team at Georgia Veterinary Specialists did an awesome job, however! He had great care. He was always clean, and they tried their best to get him walking. They did physical therapy with him several times a day and put a harness on him for support and tried to get him moving at least once a day. Anyway, I hope our journey helps someone else out there!
Avatar n tn I am very prone to bacterial and fungal infections, and it has to to with my body chemistry/ph(prediabetic/hypoglycemic). My mother who is Type 2 Diabetic, experinced these tears along with yeast infections and athletes foot infections all through her 30's and 40's until her diabetes was diagnosed and she got her levels under control.
