t mention in your question what medication you were taking. Commonly central DI is treated with desmopressin. Desmopressin works by limiting the amount of water passed in the urine.
I don't know why you would suddenly notice a decrease in your symptoms after 34 years. I would recommend making an appointment with your regular doctor to see what might be causing this. Until you can be seen, it is important that you remain aware of your fluid intake and output.

I too have DI but i take desmopressin and hydrocortizone daily. I found if I break the 20mg desmopressin into quarters I do better. The 5mg just didn't seem to work for me. I take it morning and night and other than a 10lb weight gain I have not had any side affects. If I don't take enough I feel fatigued and if I take to much my weight goes up but when the dose was decreased the bulk of the weight came off.

i used prednesolone acetate eye drops prescribed by my doctor, as i had redness of eye and inflmation. after using it it reduced and every thing was normal.But after 3 or 4 years, i had horrible pain in my hips. and when i consulted a bone speciliest, he said that cartilage in my hip joint is woren out, and there are symptoms of artharities, bone is getting woren out due to bone rubbing against each other, due to some steroid or some drug, So can Predesolone acetate be the cause for it.
I got the prescription from the doctor to take 10mg/day of MEDROXYPROGESTERONE ACETATE. However, since I started taking the medicine too late, 2 days after I took the medicine, I still had my period, so I stopped taking it. On May 13th, I had unprotected sex. My question is: is it safe to get pregnant within a month after taking 20mg of MEDROXYPROGESTERONE ACETATE? Many thanks!
Is there a medication for Diabetes Insipidus other than Desmopressin? The headaches as a side affect are dibilitating.

DDAVP, Stimate, Minirin) is a synthetic replacement for vasopressin, the hormone that reduces urine production. It may be taken nasally, or as a tablet. Lack of the hormone vasopressin is more common in men than in women. Typically, those that do not produce enough will "correct" by the end of puberty (19-25 years old for men). My eye doctor sent me to a cornea specialist and after an exam he asked me to keep taking the acyclovir tablets (1 pill - 3x a day) and prescribed Pred Forte eye drops (Prednisolone Acetate 1%) 4x a day. Reading about this stereoid, I saw that it is not to be used on infections caused by virus (eg. Herpes). What should I do????? Thank you.
Anyways if you have it, there is a medication called DDAVP (or desmopressin) that can help so that you are not attached to a drinking fountain and toilet all of the time. It has to be used very cautiously at first as you can risk becoming overhyfrated. I find that especially at night it really helps. Otherwise I wake up every hour to pee and drink. Thus I get very disturbed sleep.. The medication comes is a pill form, nasal spray and injection.
if because of any reason some blood or sexual liquid of her(i know it is unusual but with accepting this) entered to this deodorant spray in the past and the virus og hiv remain in it and then after she sprayed it the viruses entere to my body(for example from a small hurt in my skin) and infect me. is there any risk of hiv?
