My doctor put me on a medication called SYNAREL Nasal Spray for the next six months. Just wondering if anyone else was on this nasal spray? Side effects? I've been on it for 2.5 weeks. I've had horrible headaches daily, extreme fatigue and muscle and joint pain. My doctor does not think this is related to the Synarel. Anyone with similar experience?

both of ours symptoms get resolved if we take antihistamine like cetrizine + montelukast. But if we take fluticasone nasal spray, there is no improvement at all even after month..both of us get no relief from nasal sprays...even tried metaspray (mometasone).
What is the reason behind this?? Is it genetics? Or the corticosteroid is not getting absorbed?

Hi there. I was wondering if any of you on the site who have Hep C, who have ever had experience with using a prescription allergy medicine that is a nasal spray? I had taken Flonase in the past, never really cared for the backwash it has. But, I've been seeing an allergist because my allergies have really bothered me this year. He prescribed a medicine that is a nasal spray called Astelin.
pills every 4 hours was and which one had the worst side effects and why I liked the Stadol better so I told her first I treat my headache with 2 extra strength tylenol, and then Maxalt Melt tablets and then 2 mg. of dilaudid and if none of these work after waiting a reasonable amout of time between each medication I use the Stadol instead of going to the Emergency Room.

Beledryl makes some people fall a sleep with in 15-30 minutes of drowsyness but it works great for a few hours until it wears off.
NasalCrom nasal spray (over the counter) does a little for specific nasal allergies but wears off after a few hours too. NasalCrom doesn't really have side effects that I know of, maybe a little dry nose. Really gentle stuff. There are no steroids in NasalCrom.
Claritin and Clarinex (they work very differently) might help.
com and most cold meds have some very bad side effects if taken while pregnant....

For allergies I recommend nettle leaf capsules, which has magnesium, which reduces allergic reaction in many users. Try them for 2 weeks, no side effects so nothing to lose.

Before I could get to the allergist, I needed to go see a new doctor for my hypertension. He looked at my list of medications and for one (cymbalta), one of the side effects is URI. Wow, maybe that's been the problem all along! Starting to wean off the cymbalta and we'll see if that does the trick.
