Mine is partial so it ebbs and flows a bit and I do have to adjust my DDAVP dose sometimes. Without DDAVP my fluid consumption is 4 or more gallons a day. At first, I kept a fluid intake and output diary. Also I weighed myself every morning to see if I was taking to much medication and/or not consuming the right amount of fluids.
And yes, for me the best approach has ended up to take DDAVP just at night so that I can sleep without having to get up every 1/2 hour to drink and pee.
My daughter is 13 years old and has always & still struggles with bed wetting. She was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes 1.5 years ago. Her endocrinologist does not believe the wetting has to do with her diabetes. If her blood sugars are high before she goes to bed we can almost be 100% sure she will have a wet bed, but most times her sugars are in range and she might still wet. She has also gone through many test on her bladder and all is normal.
30 I woke up and felt like I had peed the bed. I got up and ran to the bathroom, and as soon as I set down a very, very large blood clot came out without me having to push or pull on my tampon. I was not able to see just how large exactly the clot was because the water became immediately red, but I caught a glimpse, and I want to say it was the size a baseball. The first time my period started I was taking a shower at my boyfriends, and I started feel dizzy and lightheaded.
ll get one or two here n there but they are coming out regularly and VERY large during my period and my cramps are indescribable.
They come out to the point where I can't wear tampons because it clogs me in a sense. I've been on birth control or about 3 years now and ovarian cancer does run in my genes. I don't kno if thats any help. BUT PLEASE HELP ME OUT HERE!
Hi i suffer from blood clots i suffered a PE, arterial clots and dvt all at the same time, i also clotted while on warfarin in hospital so the doctors want my inr higher than most between 2 and 3. My last inr results were 2.9 and i take 8mg of warfarin.
If the clotting gets worse and your period gets super heavy, you should get checked by your ob/gyn for fibroids. Cause fibroids can cause that to happen. And although some women are still able to carry a baby to term, depending on the size and location of the fibroid(s), other women end up with problems.
Maybe just keep an eye on it for now but if it gets worse, go see your ob/gyn.
I'm 5 weeks pregnant first pregnancy and I been cramping bleeding and clotting yet, they did an ultrasound Friday on the 15 my baby fetus is still there, I'm still bleeding and cramping I bent so worried everytimeiI go to the restroom any help? Advice? Or similar situation here?

Today marks day 3 of the bleeding n clotting but I am now bariely bleeding and I only passed 2-3 really small clots and the bleeding was light all day today. So im trying to stay hppeful and not think negative. My fiance says he has that gut feeling the baby is fine as do so we r keeping up the good thoughts til we know for sure. I will keep u all posted. m 17yrs old I had a tumor that was attached to the pituitary gland when I was 12 it was removed partially the rest was removed with chemo and radiation due to being attached to my eyes. when I was 15 it came back I had chemo and radiation and it was gone now I had an MRI done and apperantly my doc sees what can be scar tissue or the tumor again.
Can some one explain what scar tissue is and if it's in any way bad for me or it's long term side effects please and thank you!!!
Desmopressin is given orally as a tablet and is only for patients over 5 years old. According to the Food and Drug Administration, nasal spray formulations of Desmopressin (Noctiva, others) are no longer recommended for treatment of bed-wetting due to the risk of serious side effects.
Again, however, I can't stress enough that your friend should be checked by the GP, as an adult , this can signal other issues that need fairly prompt attention.
I have been having light bleeding since November 8, along with really bad pelvic pain, blood clots, bloating, fatigue, weakness, and feeling like I am getting sick. I have used a nasal spray (DDAVP) for three weeks, but the bleeding did not stop. I tried doubling up on the nasal spray since I was prescribed the wrong strength, but it did not help. I had my second Depo Provera shot on December 7. I thought it would help make the bleeding stop, but I am still bleeding.
I go through bouts of what seems like diabetes insipidus, but i am having to pee every 20-30 minutes, and my bladder is pretty full---and I'm not drinking fluids. it will last a couple of hours, and then quit. i haven't figured out what is going on---but i do have hypopituitarism.
she will have 4 packets of oatmeal and a glass of milk in the am. Another possible symptom is nocturnal enuresis. She is on DDAVP at night .05 mg X approx. 4 months. If I remember to wake her up around 2am she may be dry, before the DDAVP she was going through 2 goodnights diapers a night... if I didn't change it midway she and the bed would be completely soaked.
Anyway, her Thyroid was hyperactive, and she is allergic to Milk and Eggs (she did have hives when we were at the Dr).
ive never went this much during the night..i had to go get on some meds called ddavp to slow it down so i can sleep..
My question is if this is necessary to put her right away on such an expensive tablet, if there is any other way to treat incontinence, how can he diagnose a missing hormone(sorry for my poor language) with a simple blood or urine test and can DDAVP be taken along with other drugs, in particular Clavamox.
HI, I can't speak to the overarching issue...that is something for a doc to discuss w/ you certainly. However, I had a very large DVT that stretched from my groin to my knee in my last pregnancy (he's 6.5 now) and am pregnant again. You won't likely be on Coumadin during pregnancy (I'm guessing) but they'll switch you to Heparin or Lovenox (I'm on Lovenox).
I'm 57 years old and beginning a year ago during very cold weather (35degrees with wind) I noticed my toes, fingetips, and part of nose had truned purple. Now, during cold weather again, the same thing is happening. It's really severe color, looking almost like frostbite. What is more worrysome is when they take blood, the blood clots, suggesting cold agglutin.
