dandruff in my hair

i dont know if its dandruff or wat, but it doesnt come in flakey form. it comes in tiny hair forms. they are white dust like particles which are in my hair and they never run out. what may the cause be and what should i do to stop it? i used to wash my hair every day/twice a day if i play ball. for the last 3 days ive tried shampooing every other day, but i do still wash my hair with water. but no good, there are still a massive amount of dust in my hair. What sort of illness is this?

Over the past few months ive developed dandruff i think then my head started to itch and now i have 2 hard bumps on the back of my head close to my neck and in my hair. its really irritating me what should i do?

my scalp burns and hurts it flakes and somestimes the flakes harden to my scalp my hair stopped growing and has been falling out over the last year

Yup for 1st time in my life n secound baby n I got bad dandruff it sux. .n to top it off I cant use anyy kind of dandruff stuff cause it irritates my skin so I dont bother.but im not sure where u are but im in nz n the doc can subscribe this reall good stuuf that ya can also use on ur skin I cant member watvit called but it pink n smells YUCK hence y I still havnt botherd with it haha..

So after 2 years my hair is still falling out, I am 25 yrs old now, there is no family history of hair loss or baldness, all my grandparents, parents and relatives have a full head of hair. I used to have very thick long hair, I’ve lost about 80% in thickness of my hair. I have short hairs all over my head (new growth is falling out too). There is no noticeable thinning close to the scalp, but my once thick ponytail is very thin.

Will the selection of shampoo have results on my dandruff and hair-fall? If so suggest a shampoo to get rid of both t.he things..

I get a very itchy and when I go to put my hair up it looks like Im creating snow with the amount of flaks that come out. so why would my dandruff appear after so long without any?

As soon as I wash and towel blot my hair, my hair starts to itch and my hairline becomes white white. The constant scratching leads to bleeding. I never had dandruff problems before pregnancy, but once I entered my 2nd trimester my scalp is dry and I have lots of dandruff. Anybody else have this problem and a solution? Does it go away after the baby is born?

I am 22 years old. A year that my hair is oily and hair loss.

I am also going through similar dandruff, my question to you is how do I determine, whether my dandruff is a sign of psoriasis or seborrhoeic dermatitis? FYI, my dandruff don't respond to any of the dandruff shampoos I have tried so far, I have started using tea tree oil since 2 weeks & I massage it once a week. Any help would be highly appreciated.

Apply it twice in a week at night and keep overnight. There are many anti dandruff shampoos in the market which you can use. Comb your hair well and massage your scalp well. If dandruff persists consult a skin specialist. Once this resolves the lymph nodes will disappear on their own. Hope this helps. Do let me know if there is any thing else and keep me posted. i agree those shampoos can be very harsh it also strips the colour from my hair its so strong lol!.. My scalp is defo dry so im gonna try some of the things you suggested.. Thank you!!

The scales drop onto my face giving me a rash..any advice please. My hair falls out pretty badly when I comb it.

I have small boils/pimples in my scalp and small white particles at the hair roots. My scalp itches a lot. Perhaps due to this scalp infection pimples keep appearing now and then on my forehead and along the hair lines on my face, for which i use clearsil soap with which it goes only to reappear again. i wash my hair with Head and Shoulders shampoo on alernate days and have my even started using Candid TV shampoo, 2 days a week, but there is no relief. Please suggest a remedy.

I ahve had no selly scalp since then but i do still wash my hair every 3-4 days with it. Before Jason Dandruff i washed my hair every day and my pillows also smelt in a morning! t have dandruff but I have always had a sensitive scalp and too many scents in a shampoo male my scalp break.put in sores and these both always work for.me. They keep.my scalp well conditioned and make my hair smooth and shiny too.

t anything visible except dandruff, so is my hair loss without scalp disease? My father has dandruff too but not hair loss. so, is my hair loss associated with tinea? Once I did take pills suggested by a dermatologist but that did not really help.

Try using t gel by neutrogena, that does sound like psorosis. T gel is very helpful, and it's not expensive I use it because I get acne on my scalp from using hair spray And it works wonders even though it is made for psorosis. It's main ingredient is coal tar so it doesn't smell pleasant but it's worth a try. Also if you had lice you'd see it crawling.

I believe you're overthinking it. Greasy hair has nothing to do with patm. I can greasy hair as well if I don't shower in 2 or 3 days. And I used to have dandruff (if you call that film) like crazy way before I developed patm. To have greasy hair and dandruff is normal.

Ok, i was looking to see if there was some sort of hair forum on this website, but i dont believe there is. so, hopefully i can get some help from here. i have just colored my hair in nov and i have dandruff. i am trying to find a dandruff shampoo that is good for African American hair and wont strip my color every time i use it. any suggestions?

Pre pregnancy I had some issues with dandruff which I learned to control with products that actually worked for me personally but now during pregnancy my dandruff has gotten out of hand and I can't seem to get my scalp moisturized good enough to fix the problem which is making me insecure. I really want to go get my hair cut but I'm afraid of what the stylist will think or say or react.
