That's how my early contractions felt but then ofcourse they started getting stronger & stronger but the same day.
I started feeling such kind of pain since today and i walked too much yesterday in a mall. Will try to rest. But do these contractions create any prob or labour?
D just to get checked out and turns out I was in pre labour at 26 weeks.. Regular contractions at around a 50 on the toco scale every couple of minutes. I'm on medication to stop the contractions, they have eased but not stopped, and I've been given a shot to develop bubs lungs. If They manage to stop the contractions ill be on light duties for work and must take medication the rest of my pregnancy.

No, I don't think standing for long periods of time will cause a miscarriage. Babies hang tough. What isn't so tough is our body. And we have added weight and extra hormones. Standing for 5 hours is going to make anyone tired and possibly sore, but is not dangerous. Now, as you get further along, you may want to address with your boss having some breaks thrown in. I doubt it would lead to Braxton hicks contractions (false labor) but for some, I imagine it could.
Pregnant women often complain of abdominal discomfort after eating in the later part of their pregnancy. As your baby increases in size, the uterus stretches. This stretching causes the other organs to move a little to make room. When you eat a large meal it might feel as though it is right at the back of you throat. You may feel heart burn, or overly full even if you have not eaten that much. Try eating small amounts at more frequent intervals, it may provide some relief.
...but might not be staying. Even though I have been having contractions for 7 1/2 hours, and they are close together (4 mins when I stopped counting), I am still only 3 cm. I just tried doing laps around the maternity wing, so I am hoping that something happens soon. Otherwise, they are considering sending me home. Now during pregnancy number 4 I do have a stone and even with a very controlled diet am in mild pain most of the time and occasionally in enough pain that I have passed out. My blood tests are always normal other then a horrible infection that landed me in the ER and in several rounds of antibiotics followed by a c.diff infection. The pain and stomach upset from my gallbladder is now causing contractions and I can barely sleep most nights.

re in labor you will have contractions that will continue even with rest and water. They will become more and more unbearable. You're water may or may not break. If you start feeling contractions they tell you to lay on your left side, drink two glasses of water and see if they continue and get closer together. If they do go to labor and delivery but if not you're just experiencing Braxton hicks and or you where dehydrated!
If you are having Braxton Hicks, it may help to slow down a bit. Generally, you shouldn't have to restrict activity at your time frame in pregnancy. However, we are all individual. I'd tell your doctor about this as well for guidance.
My last pregnancy was 10yrs ago, and I don't remember having any contractions. I keep hearing that I'll know when I have one, Braxton Hicks or real labor, because my stomach will tighten. Can someone please be a little more descriptive?

Braxton hicks isnt consistent eventually it'll go away. Actual labor is consistent and it gets worse as it progresses. I hope this helps. Try timing your contractions if the time gets closer and closer you're in labor. If ita close then far apart its Braxton hicks.
Does the pain come in waves? Time them if so, and follow the 5 1 1 rule...5 times the waves come if they last more than 1 minute each over 1 hour, go into L&D. If its not, It could be round ligament pain. That seems to be worse than any round ligament pain you go through earlier in the pregnancy. I am not sure exactly how it feels due to having extra pain from a softball sized fibroid. I get a lot of that feeling constantly and have most of the pregnancy.
I just got over a horrible stomach bug I went to the hospital to get fluids plus vomiting can cause contractions with my last they gave me a shot to stop contractions I would go just to get fluids to make sure I don't dehydrate
I'm going to guess the cramping is due to your bowel contracting, which is due to your diarrhea. Diarrhea isn't extremely uncommon in pregnancy. It is safe to take regular Imodium during pregnancy. See if that helps. Best of luck my dear.
