rehab

Avatar n tn Is there a cardiac rehabilitation center in your area? If so, I strongly advise your husband to participate. Exercise is done while wired up and one gains confidence as success is achieved. That being said, is he taking beta blockers? If so, it may be almost impossible for his heart rate to exceed 100 beats per minute, and the rules for aerobic exercise and heart beat are thrown out the window... the rehab folks teach "perceived exercise thresholds" instead.
1895503 tn?1332373374 t been nearly as in touch as I wish to have been while here in this rehab center. I came here because after detoxing for 4 months on my own (from Opana ER), I realized that I couldn't even figure out how much help I still needed. After being at this rehab center for a week, I don't have Opana in my system anymore. I am now on Suboxone (4mg two times a day). I have heard all the warnings about Suboxone, and plan to be off it within 1 1/2 weeks.

Avatar f tn Has anyone on here been to or known anyone that has been to Haven House Rehab Center in Oxford, MS??? I will be going in a couple of days and just curious if anyone has an opinion on it. Also, to all the women.... I haven't had a period since jan 19. The only other times I have skipped, I was pregnant but I have taken 2 tests and they were both negative. Can withdrawals from lortab cause you to miss a cycle for 2 months? Has anyone else experienced this as a side effect of detox and relapse?
501205 tn?1227345442 I cant sleep and was watching the VH1 show Celeb Rehab and I have to say I wish I could have detoxed in that center! Its so nice. Hell, I wish I could stay there right now. I like Dr. Drew too. People say that he is a fame--- but I dont know . he seems to really care about his patients. Either way that recovery center is so nice and beautiful.
620923 tn?1452915648 This is disappointing to find out, but at least we have two other locations in NY now that can offer aid to those with Chiari instead of just one location. That's the bright side.
331415 tn?1311459301 When I watched the first show, they were filming him at his house, and went through all of the stuff he takes on a daily basis. It was Oxy, Norco, Xanax, alcohol, cocaine, muscle relaxers, and he was snorting something that he said helps him when he is constipated. But there were also more drugs he took, I can't remember how many, but talk about a seriously harsh physical rehab. This guy has been doing drugs for how long? Since he got hurt doing Grease I think?

Avatar f tn ve heard on our community and from others, too. The link is in our Health Pages or comes up on top if you put it in as NY Thyroid Center. Keep us posted and good luck. I had micro's so the need isn't great for specialized care for me at this point beyond a good good endo who specializes in thyroids and emphasis on thy cancer.
Avatar f tn Looking for the best treatment center in US, Consult with New Solutions Counseling centers in Florida- one of the best addiction recovery rehab center.
Avatar f tn After going home from the inpatient rehab center, is it necessary to follow up with visiting the the outpatient rehab center regularly or just continue at home the rehab exercise which be taught at rehab center?
Avatar f tn Hello everyone. My journey with endometriosis started when I was 15. I am now 30. I started getting the very bad cramps, long and heavy periods, and most important,  the horrific pains that drops us to the floor. My mom had me to multiple doctors and all they came up with was bad periods and cramps. Nothing done. One doctor even tried telling me that I was lactose intolerant and the pain was being caused from eating ice cream. Yea! What a quack.
Avatar m tn There are several types of muscle disorders that can lead to intermittent elevations in CK with intermittent worsening pain. These include glycogen storage disorders such as Pompe, which you mention above, but also others, that may be associated with a normal routine muscle biopsy, but that can be diagnosed with specific staining. Other muscle disorders that would require special stains to diagnose include some of the dysferlinopathies and other rare muscle disorders.
Avatar f tn We do not have thousands of dollars to send her to a medical detox center. If she agrees, we will be bringing her to our home which is in a different state. We are well aware of how painful this process can be as we have all witnessed it once before when she came to visit and took all of her pills in 3 days. She currently has a doctor prescribing her morphine for pain, but she also buys from the street.
Avatar n tn I would start by telling him/her about her addiction so that s/he can refer her to an inpatient rehab center. When she is done with rehab, she can go to Narcotics Anon meetings, and see/do whatever else they recommend at the rehab center. Now, there are doctors that specialize in addiction and pain management, but it really seems like she needs to get into rehab...fast. Hopefully others with more experience will chime in.
Avatar f tn t know of any doctors/ specialist in NYS that can help, there is limited information. I live in a very rural community in upstate New York by the Canadian border. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

7689249 tn?1408018598 well i found a rehab to go to I'm going on aug 25th but the weird thing is she said its tricky with insurances and detox and mine might not pay and she can't see if they will until I'm there and if they dont cover it it cost 9000$ so i will have to leave weird i think but whatever i just hope they will pay without any trouble cuz i need this real bad i am very excited to be going i can't wait to see what life is like being free and sober
Avatar m tn Now we have had her in a rehab center for 3 weeks and she has been detoxed and sober now for over a week. The real work and therapy has begun. The doctors say there is a big difference between sober and recovered. We have spent countless hours in family therapy and learning how to change things when she gets out so that nothing can cause one of her triggers to make her want to take again. This has been the hardest thing our family has done but we decided that she was worth every effort.
486038 tn?1300063367 Anyone familiar with this one? I may need to go there, depending on how this whole thing plays out, becuase I can't necessarily keep flying up to NY forever, with my family, life and insuranec being in AL. Problem is, I trust my doctor in NY, and I haven't heard anything about the Birmingham MS center. Aren't they for Peds?
