treated with CiproDex otic solution,no response, another round of CiproDex this time combined with Azithromycin. Left eyelid started twitching few days after ear infection/CiproDex treatment. Gradually, I started having tingling in my legs. Also had three panic attacks with heart beat +180 bpm. diagnosed with borderline hyperthyroidism (TSH 0.32 and FT4 24) and all symptoms were attributed to thyroid problem. The thyroid is back to normal now without any thyroid meds.
I have had for the last 5 months, fluid leaking from ear, A thick yellow sometimes clear puss like fluid, Cause? Infection, I was prescribed ciprodex a week ago, Im suppose to take it for 14 days and then get surgery to patch a hole in my left ear.
The fluid is still leaking, all the time, How can the medication work if my ears wont stay dry? The fluid is probably blocking the medication from actually working.
I just had tubes put in both ears 6 days ago. I got the flu and had both ears infected. The pressure and pain is gone, but now I'm talks by ina tunnel and my hearing is diminished. I think I'm draining, because when I use my ciprodex drops...I swear I taste it in the back of my throat. How lucky big is this gonna last? Will my hearing go back to normal? Will the tunnel in my head stop?
Hey! So this all started about two months ago when I decided it would be a good idea to self-irrigate my ear after experiencing a lot of wax. I got a syringe and some warm water and just started blasting into my right ear canal. It didn't end up being successful as the wax never actually did come out, but I then started having earaches that have never fully healed. I've been to the doctor 4 times since then.
Hey all, i had gonorrhea and got ciprodex and doxy. I noticed that my sperm is really watery and see-thru and my balls warms since then. Is it normal? Any chance i still have the gonorreah/some other infection?

i am scared i have to get a ph test done at childrens hospital monday i am to young to go home so they said that i am going to have to spend the night at the hospital.they are going to check my acid level to see if that is whats making my tongue swell in the back.i was wondering does it hurt to swollow after you get the tube in because i am freaking out should i be freaking out or not?HELP

ciprodex,ofloxacin,elatrolet,toviaz,spasmex,sedural,sodium bi carbonate . Non of these drugs helped my or eased my symptoms. In addition, I went through 10 acupuncture sessions without any improvement. Drinking ample amounts of water, parsley tea and cranberry juice showed no change as well. Nothing seems to help. I don't know how to carry on from this point on, my quality of life has been impaired to a point where I can no longer recall the feeling of being well.
I went to a new GI specialist yesterday, doubled Nexium to 80 mg daily, and 20 mg of baclofen to control cough. The other option that was suggested was to repeat an endoscopy and do pH monitoring. I was on info. overload and should have slowed the dr. down, but opted for another try at meds instead of the scope. If I have not responded to drug therapy to control reflux during the past 3 or more months is there reason to believe that this will work?
I actually just got diagnosed with vb and got put on antibiotics to fix the ph balance and infection
Do any of u ladys have any answers to help me? How do u regulate ur ph level?
Is there anything medicane or anything I could take to help my ph balance that's not too expensive.
I think secondary just means it was caused by another medical problem which is obviously the Mitral Valve Regurgitation, for both of us. Like you, I do not understand how this will impact my lifespan, as my research into PH does not make one optimistic. I wish you the best of luck with your journey. I suggest you check out the PH Association's web sight because they will send you a free and wonderful book on PH. I have just begun to read it myself and hope to have some answers soon.
Based on the information you provided, you do NOT have pulmonary hypertension. Please also note that echocardiography can not definitively diagnose or exclude PH...this requires an invasive heart cath. Having said this, again, based on what you provide, you do NOT have to worry about PH.
Take a deep breath and feel good that you seem healthy (but please stop smoking!!!).

I had the bravo ph test done a couple weeks ago. My doctor said the score was 75 and followed that with an "ouch". I have a hiatal hernia, and respiratory symptoms seemingly related to gerd. He says I am a candidate for surgery. My question is - in laymans's terms, what does the score mean? I can't find anything online that indicates ranges for anything that is above the norm.
t able to see my eardrum because there was so much drainage. He put me on Ciprodex. Here I am, 5 days after all of this started, and my ear is still plugged!!! I don't expect miracles, but I was hoping the new drop would do something. I can't hear out of my ear, I keep getting shooting pains, it is beyond uncomfortable when my 15 month old screams, and I'm tired of this!!!
At this point it feels like my ear is plugged, not need to pop. Is there anything I can do to unplug my ear???
The normal esophageal pH is between 7 and 4 (or 5, depending on who you ask). If the pH stays in one range for a long time (say between 4.5 and 6.1) then that seems to indicate normal esophageal function. If there's a sudden drop (from 7 to 5.3) that indicates possible reflux (might be acid, might be regurgitation).
Sometimes the pH will drop below 4. This is definitely acid reflux, though I don't know how much is considered "normal". I presume my dips into the 2.x and 1.
