treated with CiproDex otic solution,no response, another round of CiproDex this time combined with Azithromycin. Left eyelid started twitching few days after ear infection/CiproDex treatment. Gradually, I started having tingling in my legs. Also had three panic attacks with heart beat +180 bpm. diagnosed with borderline hyperthyroidism (TSH 0.32 and FT4 24) and all symptoms were attributed to thyroid problem. The thyroid is back to normal now without any thyroid meds.
I have had for the last 5 months, fluid leaking from ear, A thick yellow sometimes clear puss like fluid, Cause? Infection, I was prescribed ciprodex a week ago, Im suppose to take it for 14 days and then get surgery to patch a hole in my left ear.
The fluid is still leaking, all the time, How can the medication work if my ears wont stay dry? The fluid is probably blocking the medication from actually working.
I just had tubes put in both ears 6 days ago. I got the flu and had both ears infected. The pressure and pain is gone, but now I'm talks by ina tunnel and my hearing is diminished. I think I'm draining, because when I use my ciprodex drops...I swear I taste it in the back of my throat. How lucky big is this gonna last? Will my hearing go back to normal? Will the tunnel in my head stop?
Hey! So this all started about two months ago when I decided it would be a good idea to self-irrigate my ear after experiencing a lot of wax. I got a syringe and some warm water and just started blasting into my right ear canal. It didn't end up being successful as the wax never actually did come out, but I then started having earaches that have never fully healed. I've been to the doctor 4 times since then.
Hey all, i had gonorrhea and got ciprodex and doxy. I noticed that my sperm is really watery and see-thru and my balls warms since then. Is it normal? Any chance i still have the gonorreah/some other infection?
ciprodex,ofloxacin,elatrolet,toviaz,spasmex,sedural,sodium bi carbonate . Non of these drugs helped my or eased my symptoms. In addition, I went through 10 acupuncture sessions without any improvement. Drinking ample amounts of water, parsley tea and cranberry juice showed no change as well. Nothing seems to help. I don't know how to carry on from this point on, my quality of life has been impaired to a point where I can no longer recall the feeling of being well.
t able to see my eardrum because there was so much drainage. He put me on Ciprodex. Here I am, 5 days after all of this started, and my ear is still plugged!!! I don't expect miracles, but I was hoping the new drop would do something. I can't hear out of my ear, I keep getting shooting pains, it is beyond uncomfortable when my 15 month old screams, and I'm tired of this!!!
At this point it feels like my ear is plugged, not need to pop. Is there anything I can do to unplug my ear???
Ent relented and gave me Ciprodex ear drops. Began using 3 daya ago, they seem to help, especially first 2days, but the antibiotics I was on at the time, the prescribed term to use them was up! Now the drops don't seem as effective??? In the interim saw my family doctor, she looked in both ears, said the one ear, ear dum is clear, like saran wrap, the ear that I'm having the problem with, she said looks pink and thicker, she didn't seem to have an answer!!! Any ideas???

Such a rash which appears all of a sudden is mostly due to allergies or viral rashes. It can be due to drug allergy reaction to Cymbalta. You need to take antihistaminics like benadryl or Claritin. Longer-acting antihistamines are available by prescription. They cause less drowsiness and can work just as well. These medications include fexofenadine and cetirizine. But they should always be taken under medical supervision. Moreover you may try calamine lotion on the rash.
There is always a risk for side effects,interactions or allergic reactions, so please make sure both meds are suitable for you by asking a physician.
Apparently a reaction to the shots. Have had cortisone shots several times in the past for other reasons with no reaction. Should I contact my doctor who gave me the shots or just get some Benadryl?
First, I want to make sure that you are no longer taking either antibiotic until you know which one (or if it was both) that you had a reaction to. Since you were taking both at the same time, it would be difficult to know which one caused the reaction. You would most likely have to see an allergist for testing. You should continue to take the benadryl, prednisone, and the zantac as prescribed and you should follow up with your primary care doctor.
My as a allergic reaction to penicillin and he has a rash from head to toe. Is there anything safe I can wash my son in that will give him relief especially his face so he will stop scratching.
I am a 62 year old female and I have just started having almost an asthma like reaction when I cut up hot peppers. I was cutting up just a pablano pepper today and almost from the first cut I started coughing and having a little trouble breathing. Why has this just started and is it dangerous?
