I spotted at 5 weeks, thought it was nothing, but at 16 weeks found out it was something serious. Most of the time though spotting/light bleeding is normal.

I saw my baby at 6 Weeks and the doctor told me the heartbeat was very strong and everything was perfect. And he also told me my chance of miscarriage dropped very low since we saw the heart beat but everybody is being so negative and telling me there's still a high chance of m/c until my 2nd tri... Any experiences?

I had a miscarriage at the begining of my pregnancy and lost that one at 6 weeks.. I carried Braegan for 18 weeks before he was stillborn...

Then was 16 weeks when we found out the gender. Then was 24 weeks when our baby has at least a possibility of surviving outside the womb. Then we held out for 28 weeks when his chances of survival were 95%. Our current goal is to make it to full term - 37 week (only 11 more days!). Keep praying - and have a strong support system! OH - I almost forgot. We got a heart doppler to have at home. I used it everyday starting at 10 weeks until I could constantly feel him move.

When I was 11 weeks and I had what u call a Threatening Miscarriage I was bleeding real bad and had a lot of blood clogs now I'm 34 weeks pregnant and he is doing very good.

I am nine weeks and a bit and had a mc in March . I didn't mc until I was 13 weeks but the baby died at 9 weeks . I am also very nervous because I had a ultrasound the last time at 8 almost nine weeks and they told me that the baby died that day or the day after . I did have a ultrasound last week and the heartbeat was there but because of what I went through the first time I really don't feel any better .

m 26 and nine weeks pregnant, as is I feel like throwing up, I have also been spotting but the Doc told me not to worry, he gave me some medication to stop the spotting...

i jsut had a miscarriage as well at the end of may and baby would have been 7 weeks and found out i was already pregnant without ever having a period two weeks later after i miscarriaged.

And if it puts your mind at ease you are almost in the 2nd trimester and the likely hood of a miscarriage is there but the possibility drops significantly.

She might have meant the growth was only 7 weeks. If you go based off of LMP, you're adding two weeks onto your baby, so at 9 weeks the fetus itself is only 7 weeks.

Thanks, Lizzie I'm going in monday at nine to talk to my doc about it but at least the odds are sort of in my faver makes me feel a little better, and the girl was a grade school friend and she thought that I new but of course i had now idea , it ***** really really bad ! Can't sleep right till I know for sure its killing me.

I have had spotting, massive bleeds and clotting the entire first tri of this pregnancy and now at 18 weeks. I wouldn't assume you miscarried. See the doctor as soon as you can. There are several reasons bleeding can occur in pregnancy. Best of luck to you!

I would go to the hospital. Bleeding is not abnormal in some women, but the heaviness and the clots are signs of possible miscarriage. At least they can tell you if you're in active miscarriage...if they don't tell you, ask if your cervix is open or closed. If its closed, it means you're not actively miscarrying. This happened to me, though not heavy or with clots, and they said that when you bleed in pregnancy it means your chance of miscarriage is about 50/50.

I would say the best thing I did was I started a pregnancy diary. So I didn't just try and push it out of my mind, I wrote out my fears and emotions. It helped to vent and it was also nice to read threw it. I had a miscarriage last August, with my first pregnancy at nine weeks. There's always a chance of miscarriage whether you've had one or none before, healthy or not healthy.....1 in 4 pregnancies end in miscarriage which is a frightening statistic.....Like Praying4MiniMe said, if you;re not having bleeding or cramping, I wouldn't worry too much....Lots of luck with your pregnancy!

I'm 7.5 weeks along. I miscarried 4 and a half years ago at 4 weeks and this is our first time getting pregnant since! We saw the heartbeat already and it was 144! What are the chances or mis carrying after you've seen the heart beat? I've had no spotting or anything. I've had morning sickness and very mild cramping.

if your supposed to be nine weeks and everythings measuring 4...it doesnt sound too good...or like they said your due date could have been miscaculated. were your hcg levels doubling? why did you think you were supposed to be nine weeks?

I had a scan at 7.5 weeks and there was nothing but an empty sac, blighted ovum. Scanned again at 8.5 weeks and still there was nothing but a healthy well formed empty sac. My husband and I mourned the loss on the first scan. It was much easier to be devastated at home, than in the office with a semi-non emotional doctor looking at you. You can still be hopeful!! But be prepared for the worst. Plus, it took 5 weeks for me to have my miscarriage.

The reason they tell you to wait 1-3 cycles is to the uterus lining a chance to thicken, this will give the fertilized egg a better chance at implanting itself in to the lining. I had a miscarriage in August, at nine weeks five days and my doctor said that I was good to go as soon as the bleeding stops I've been trying ever since with nothing but negative pregnancy tests. All through the 12 weeks the doctor said everything was fine and that I had a very slim chance of a miscarriage since I had gone that far. I heard babies heart beat and movement on Friday and saturday miscarried. I'm very confused as to why this would of happened. I want to be pregnant again right away and feel like I don't have the time to wait since I'm 40 is it safe. I did not have d/c. After my first miscarriage I was pregnant before I went back in for a check up.
