1854861 tn?1333474904 Then was 16 weeks when we found out the gender. Then was 24 weeks when our baby has at least a possibility of surviving outside the womb. Then we held out for 28 weeks when his chances of survival were 95%. Our current goal is to make it to full term - 37 week (only 11 more days!). Keep praying - and have a strong support system! OH - I almost forgot. We got a heart doppler to have at home. I used it everyday starting at 10 weeks until I could constantly feel him move.
Avatar f tn When I was 11 weeks and I had what u call a Threatening Miscarriage I was bleeding real bad and had a lot of blood clogs now I'm 34 weeks pregnant and he is doing very good.
Avatar f tn I miscarried in Feb at 7 weeks. And in July when I found out I was pregnant again I was only 3 weeks. I was so scared because my doctors won't see me til 8 weeks. 5 long weeks of hoping nothing would go wrong. I'm now 15 weeks 3 days. At my 10w we did a sono since my last was a miscarriage. We saw the little baby moving around and heard the heart beat. At 12 weeks she said the heart beat was strong. I go back in 2 weeks (Oct. 22) at my 17week and can find out the sex.
Avatar f tn After hearing heartbeat you chance of miscarriage goes down drastically you have a 98 % chance of having a healthy baby 2% chance of miscarriage and after ten weeks that goes down to only one percent
2863077 tn?1436670789 i jsut had a miscarriage as well at the end of may and baby would have been 7 weeks and found out i was already pregnant without ever having a period two weeks later after i miscarriaged.
Avatar f tn And if it puts your mind at ease you are almost in the 2nd trimester and the likely hood of a miscarriage is there but the possibility drops significantly.
Avatar n tn Miscarriages are more common than people think. As a matter of fact, about 25 percent of women who become pregnant have a miscarriage at some point in their life. It can even happen early enough that the woman never knows she was pregnant. Between 15 and 20 percent of all diagnosed pregnancies end in a miscarriage in the first or early second trimester. Chance chromosomal errors that occur while the embryo is first developing are the chief causes of most first trimester miscarriages.
6670807 tn?1383598736 I have had spotting, massive bleeds and clotting the entire first tri of this pregnancy and now at 18 weeks. I wouldn't assume you miscarried. See the doctor as soon as you can. There are several reasons bleeding can occur in pregnancy. Best of luck to you!
10081510 tn?1408276883 I am ten weeks and also having cramps. All the research I have done sat it is normal to get cramps. Just your body growing for your baby.
Avatar f tn I would go to the hospital. Bleeding is not abnormal in some women, but the heaviness and the clots are signs of possible miscarriage. At least they can tell you if you're in active miscarriage...if they don't tell you, ask if your cervix is open or closed. If its closed, it means you're not actively miscarrying. This happened to me, though not heavy or with clots, and they said that when you bleed in pregnancy it means your chance of miscarriage is about 50/50.
1928333 tn?1333453969 Within an hour of spotting - miscarriage! Not much cramps...but heavy bleeding...did not even get a chance to consult midwife...
7677085 tn?1395374075 Had anyone else had red bleeding at ten weeks? I'm due October eighth and I have am appointment on Tuesday but I just started bleeding and I'm panicking. I know it's irrational because bleeding doesn't always indicate a problem but I never bled in my first pregnancy until further along.
Avatar f tn I'm 13 weeks and I swear I felt this crazy little spasum I've never felt before! I believe it was my baby!
366779 tn?1291343396 There's always a chance of miscarriage whether you've had one or none before, healthy or not healthy.....1 in 4 pregnancies end in miscarriage which is a frightening statistic.....Like Praying4MiniMe said, if you;re not having bleeding or cramping, I wouldn't worry too much....Lots of luck with your pregnancy!
Avatar f tn I'm ten weeks pregnant. I had a miscarriage three months ago at six weeks. I've had two previous miscarriages before my last daughter was born. I feel good this pregnancy and haven't had a problem. We expected to miscarry...because I'm so prone to it...but so far so good. No cramping, bleeding or any other concerns. I've been able to do everything I normally do including exercising every night without a problem. Just relax and think about new baby clothes....
Avatar m tn I had a scan at 7.5 weeks and there was nothing but an empty sac, blighted ovum. Scanned again at 8.5 weeks and still there was nothing but a healthy well formed empty sac. My husband and I mourned the loss on the first scan. It was much easier to be devastated at home, than in the office with a semi-non emotional doctor looking at you. You can still be hopeful!! But be prepared for the worst. Plus, it took 5 weeks for me to have my miscarriage.
Avatar f tn All through the 12 weeks the doctor said everything was fine and that I had a very slim chance of a miscarriage since I had gone that far. I heard babies heart beat and movement on Friday and saturday miscarried. I'm very confused as to why this would of happened. I want to be pregnant again right away and feel like I don't have the time to wait since I'm 40 is it safe. I did not have d/c. After my first miscarriage I was pregnant before I went back in for a check up.
Avatar f tn I don't think having had a m/c increases your chances of having another one. In fact, I've read that after having a m/c, most women go on to have a normal and healthy pregnancy. I undersatnd about being scared tho. I hope you have a healthy and happy 9 months.
Avatar f tn I am 5 weeks pregnant and previously had a miscarriage at 5weeks and 5days. I am petrified of it happening again being pregnant is suppost to be a happy time and all I am doing is stressing and worrying that it may happen again. Am I more likely to have another mc because I've already had one? Ur answer are greatly appreciated.
3186901 tn?1345721782 10 weeks is way too early. You are going to have a hard thing find the heartbeat and stress yourself out more. If everything looks fine at your last appointment and the heartbeats is strong then there's nothing to worry about. The chance of a miscarriage goes way down once there's a heartbeat. Unless you are bleeding or have other symptoms, otherwise try not to worry.
1283493 tn?1278972563 my dr told me that once they heard the heart beat my risk of miscarriage would drop. Alot of people i know have had miscarriages with their first and then go on to have normal healthy pregnancys. Just try not to stress bc I hear you can also stress the baby. think positive!
