celebrex mg

I was on Celebrex 200 mg daily, my pain clinic dr also wants to add Cymbalta 30 mg for 7 days then 60 mg. My husband and I want to have children but are not activly trying at this point, it happens when it happens. I just want pain to stop or at least elevate more. SHould I take both together. My OB said it should be ok, My neuro dr said give it a try but pain clinic dr said don't. What should I do? I have taken it for 3 days now. I also have PCOS.

Can I take two celebrex pills? They are 200mg. I still have some aches and it has been all ready about 4 hours ago I took 200mg.

t want to take plaquenil just yet. Doctor said to take celebrex and a muscle relaxer. I have been taking 1 mg of xanax for 3 weeks and before that it was about twice a week as needed. I was having such anxiety and sleep issues rhemy said to take it every day. Now 3 weeks later she wants to try the new coctail of celebrex and muscle relaxer. Tried the muscle relaxer the first night seemed to take a little of the night time pain away not much.

She is 64 but she also has osteoporosis and arthritis in her lower back. The back doctor just prescribed Celebrex, is this the safest drug for her? Also what should people with Hep C do to better care for their liver eventhough so far she seems to have a healthy liver. For the osteoporosis she is on Fosamax. She has been on it for several years. I am just afraid that too many potent drugs can be harmful for her liver.

I have been taking Celebrex (200 mg a day) for about five years for bone on bone knee osteoarthritis. It has worked well for controlling my pain (not perfect but pretty good). I also get some lower back pain (combination of osteoarthritis and nerve stuff) that only happens when I over-do (like trying to garden, etc.). I typically need a day or two of Vicodin for that as the Celebrex does not seem to work for that.

m a new RN and cannot take narcotics, so I have so switch medications. I am attempting to switch from Nucynta (50 mg 6x/day) to Celebrex (200mg 3x/day). My doctor didn't give me any advice for tapering off one to another. Any advice on how to do that? Can I take the Celebrex while still taking some Nucynta?

I started on Celebrex on Sunday. I take it every afternoon at the same time. I have not noticed any difference. I had read that it should only take "a few days" for it to start working. I'm not sure how long I should give it? Admittedly, I was not happy to be starting it in the first place, so my gut reaction is to only give it a week, and stop it if it doesn't seem to be working. The thing that seems to be working the most is my nighttime dose of gabapentin.

my gi didnt even know the dose to celebrex so i doubt he knows if its good to my liver! im telling yall hes stupid and i need to find a new dr asap!

Has anyone used Celebrex for their Crohn's? I have severe joint point pain and I have been told that Celebrex is a huge help for this. I am wondering about side effects and medicine interactions.

I have been prescibed Celebrex for osteoarthris pain. Can it be taken every day for long term management of arthritis.

I think that it would be ok to drop down like the doc told u to do and also on comment to the getting off i was having the same problem with celexa and he changed me to celebrex now so hope that the problem goes away he says that celebrex is less side effects of the sexual disfunction hope all goes good and keep up the great job stephanie

i have been on lyrica for 1 year 200mg 3 times per day i also take amitriptyline 25 mg 2 at night i take 200 mg of celebrex a day and solpadeine 3-4 times per day i was recently perscribed durogesic patches every 3 dats but am still i a lot of pain recent spinal block failed.

Up until February, I had been on opiates for a few years. Norco along with Celebrex and Robaxin (muscle relaxer). I had more side effects from all the NSAID's I was on before my insurance would finally approve Celebrex, than I did with the Norco. The only side effect I had with Norco was nausea with vomiting only when it got really bad. But that was only if I took it on an empty stomach. But the pain relief outweighed the nausea because I took an anti histamine to counter act it.

I have been taking 900 mg/day Neurontin for a back injury for the last 6 months. I was on other meds, Celebrex, Skelaxin and am off of all except Neurontin. I have tapered the Neurontin to 500mg/day. This question is related to side effects that may be due to Neurontin or maybe my migraines. When I was on a higher dose of Neurontin I was getting almost daily visual disturbances in both eyes that looked like what my migraine auras look like but those are in one eye and are followed by a headache.

Hi so I have real bad body pain and health issues that cause it. I have found myself buying pain pills Percocet 5/325 and Vic 10s and take 1 sometimes 2 a day. And have been for a little over a month now. However my Dr is now giving me celebrex and it isn't working and I am scared that I am building up a tolerance to pills. Should I go a week and be miserable and then try the celebrex? My body hurts so bad I can't even move some days and I have 5 kids with the youngest being 2 yrs old.

5 mg hydrocodone, 30 mg Flexaril (mostly at night), and Celebrex. Been doing this for about a year and a half. Started feelig worse lately, rather than better. Then I did a bright thing(not), and decided to just quit it all at once over Christmas. I am currently taking prednisone (5 mg per day and tapering), plaquenil, imuran, humira (every 10 days), celebrex (100 mg twice a day), elavil (low dose for insomnia and chronic pain relief), and a couple meds for GERD & Barret's esophagus too. But you are strong you can get off of it. Have you tried Celebrex instead of the other anti-inflammatories? Since Celebrex is a Cox2 not a Cox1 and 2 it doesn't ruin your stomach like the others. But, I still get some stomach pain and I take a Zantac with it every time and for a couple weeks after getting off of it. Maybe you can try something like Neurontin or Lamictal? I don't know if this would help since it is for nerve pain. It helped my back pain some but not when it was severe.

Before diving into another invasive procedure, I visited a pain management doctor. ONE of the many things we did was try Celebrex. Now I was very skeptical as it had done nothing prior to surgery. But once my spondy was fixed I though - let's try it again. I have to happily report that this NSAID really did work. So much so I was able to lay off the Vicodin and/or Norco as a supplement to "stay ahead of the pain".

hi i have arthritis and i have had 4 joints totally replaced and i am only 35 with no kids. i am having so severe side effects from my med mainy celebrex i have had an heart test and was seen as early polarization , diagnosed with chronic gastrointestinal reflux and have skin rash and legions . i am thinking of a claim against them . but in the main time i dont want my doctors to feel bad as they have been with me since my early twenties.

i agree with studchick, i have taken 0.5-1.0 mg of xanax on and off for about 9 years and it has def helped calm me down. in smaller doses it can help control many situations but as you mentioned a breathing issue this may call for a combination anti-depressant/anxiety medication for longer term usage, such as celebrex or zoloft.
