Upon release from the hospital I was given a prescription for an anti-biotic, CEFDINIR generic for OMNICEF, 300MG. I came home from the hospital Thursday and the heart beating problem continued. On Saturday morning, I developed another problem. I shivered but was not cold. I stuttered really bad. I don't normally stutter. It really scared my husband.
The Home Health Nurse came out and could not explain it. I had not taken the anti-biotic Saturday morning.

Said he doesn't usually prescribe but given that it have taken Cipro 250mg in the past (or urinary tract infection with no side effects. Is Cipro as effective as other antibiotics for dental infection?

Hello my 12 year old was taking omnicef for a ear infection and 10 days into it she got hives all over her body and they come and go and really ichy do you think it's from the Omnicef?
I took a 10 panel std test prior to the test I was taking Cefdinir although I stopped taking it 5 days before testing would the cefdinir affect the results which were negative.
Not all antiboitics can alter the effects of bc pills. Which kind were you on? They say to use another form of protection while taking the other meds, so I think your ok after a few days of being off the antiboitics.
I have had a round of Avelox a few weeks ago and recently Omnicef 600mg/day for 10 days and still have discharge. Question,

Now have a possible sinus infection and doctor gave me Cefdinir. Two days into the medication, my neuropathy symptoms have increased. The burning, needle like sensations and numbness. I do not want to go through that nightmare again. So I stopped taking the antibiotic and am waiting to hear from my doctor for an alternative drug. Is this considered an allergic reaction or a severe symptom. Anyway to know which antibiotics I can use and not have this reaction.
For the last or two years when the weather changes or anything the right side of my face would swell and I will be in pain but every time I go to the dr or ER over it they tell me it's a toothache but my teeth don't hurt it only hurts up beside my nose and by my eye like it's my sinus..
4 months later, still fighting this awful infection (that spread into lymph passages, ear and eye on that side), my white blood cell count is normal. My doctor seems to interpret this as being a sign that the infection is not as bad as it feels, even though I have almost constant fever, still don't feel well, and have deep aching pain in jaw especially at night, when the infection seems to intensify.
The only symptom being sever diarrhea. A side from the dehydration which they gave me 2 bags of sodium chloride intravenously which completely rehydrate me.
When I say sever diarrhea, I mean sever! I'd say I am having about 20 episodes per day. I am literally running into the restroom ever 10 minutes with watery green diarrhea.
They prescribed cefdinir taken orally 2 times a day.
Is there anything else I should worry about.
