I am on Phentermine a diet pill, I have been taking it for 4 months. I have Anxiety and I am also Bipolar which I haven't had any Anxiety for over a year now. I went to a pain management clinic for over 15 years but I cannot find a new clinic that will accept me because I take Xanax AND I CANNOT COME OFF THEM I have tried several times. Hello! In July of Last year I was put on birth control pills to help with my diagnoses of PCOS. Long story short, I developed a Massive Pulmonary Embolism in my lungs due to the contraceptives. I have to agree with Peek. The problem with any drug used for weight loss is there are side effects known and possibly not known. Plus these drugs are only effective if used in combination with a proper diet, exercise and behavior modification.
