phentermine and xanax interaction

My cousin was on Phentermine but not Sub or Lex....I think that if you took the sub along with the Phentermine, you would get real nervous and shaky...maybe even heart palpitations and put you into panic. I'm just guessing based on what each drug does and how the affects would be if you joined those two actions...but I would also suggest studying on both and search the web for the interactions....

m asking the questions and have been lurking around-- It hit me one day that I was basically using the Phentermine to get going, and then Lunesta or Xanax to stop going. It seemed like a questionable cycle, and I thought I'd better give it a good hard look. After suffering from chronic fatigue, the phentermine seemed like a life saver, but since the chrontic fatigue was likely from a sleeping problem (per my doctor), it's probably doing me as much harm as good...

Did you ask your doctor about taking Phen with your BB? Ask your doctor or pharmacist.. I would never take any type of amphetamine with an arrhythmia; all kinds of things could happen. I think that's what started my major problems with my NSVT runs that made my heart stop.

One of my kids has taken phentermine and it did help a little. However she has just this week learned she has hypothyroidism and that may be another reason her metabolism is sluggish. She is now on thyroid medicine and hoping it may be somewhat helpful in the big picture. Wish I could be more helpful. I hope you get answers soon. Good luck!

How many hrs were between the dose of fluconazle and Xanax ? I feel like death and I took the fluconazle one pill at 8 am and it's now 11 pm and feel like total blahhh!!!

You need to consult a doctor about your withdrawal from the Xanax. The new doctor should have reviewed your record and should have prescribed a substitute to what you were taking knowing this could be an Issue.

My father is 52 yrs. old, he's been insulin dependent for about 15yrs. He's 5'7 and weighs about 200lb. He really doesn't follow a diet. He eats whatever he wants, but when he checks his blood and it's about 300 or 400 he just injects his insulin. Since he eats whatever he wants, he doesn't lose any weight. Doctor's have told him he needs to lose weight. He also has had high cholesterol, but took some meds and it's normal now.

I went to a pain management clinic for over 15 years but I cannot find a new clinic that will accept me because I take Xanax AND I CANNOT COME OFF THEM I have tried several times. My psychiatrist has even written a letter to some clinics stating I cannot come off of the Xanax but they still refuse to take me and want to put me on Suboxone and I do not know what to do. I CANNOT TAKE THE PAIN ANYMORE.

I am prescribed xanax for anxiety (recently for anxiety and panic attacks) and I got doxycycline hyclate for a sinus infection yesterday from a small clinic. I completely forgot to ask if there was an interaction between these two drugs. I may not even have to take the xanax, only if I have a panic attack will I. I have been on phentermine for a little over a month because I had problems shedding post-partum weight, but then found out that I also have hypothyroidism and was prescribed with Levothyroxine (by the same doctor and kept me on phentermine). I was overwhelmed when my pharmacy printed out a long *WARNING OF DRUG INTERACTION* sheet telling me of all the possible side effects etc... I have gone from taking a vitamin a day to 3 prescription drugs, that have possible hazardous interactions.

Is it possible these symptoms are being caused by Xanax withdrawal or interaction between Xanax and Dramamine or Azithromiacin (antiabiotic). Most of the muscle buzzing, muscle twitches and insomnia started after mixture of Dramamine and Xanax.

m curious why more studies have not been conducted to study the correlation between phentermine and acne? Acne is not listed as a possible side effect of phentermine, but phentermine is considered a methamphetamine; methamphetamines are known to causes acne. I am a biology teacher and am frustrated that medical professionals are not confirming the overwhelming reports of acne being associated with phentermine. Is it a conspiracy????

My doctor also prescribed taking metformin(glucophage) in addition to the phentermine and birth control. I have lost about 8 pounds in the last month since taking the phentermine but i dont feel like I am losing enough weight for how little i have been eating.

I'm currently taking xanax, and will start prozac tomorrow. Does anyone know of any possible interaction between xanax and prozac taken together? My doctor says he's not aware of anything, But I just wanted to get some opinions from people who may have first hand knowledge or know of someone who does. So I guess do benzos and ssri's mix well? I really need the xanax untill the prozac can kick in.

Im on so many medications..xanax for anxxiety.hormones,thyroid meds and most recently phentermine for weight loss.....plus some herbs.I want to quit the vicodin.Oh Im also on wellbutrin sr but am tapering off.Some days its like I just dont care about anything.I dont want to lose my husband and home.Please any ideas of how i can kick these pills out of my life> Thanks so Much!
