Bystolic cost with insurance

Common Questions and Answers about Bystolic cost with insurance

bystolic

Avatar n tn Please don't stop taking a medication like that without asking your doctor about it. Even if you stop against their advice, they can tell you whether it's safe to stop suddenly or what procedures to follow to get off it. Bystolic has not been shown to cause ED in studies, but there apparently have been some spontaneous, voluntary reports of it happening.
Avatar m tn My doctor suggested bystolic. It has worked very well for the last year, I have been very pleased with it. In fact, I didn't switch my insurance this year because the alternative company did not want to authorize the use of the bystolic (it's a lot more expensive). I have had no side effects to speak of, much less than the atenolol. I would certainly give it a shot.
1615215 tn?1298648648 Last year I got diagnosed with MS in the states , now I was supposed to get my treatment back home , however im having problems with my insurance here.. 343006 tn?1314446471 a cardio doctor recent, put me on 10mg of bystolic and 120mg verapamil daily - for 3 days I was fine-after that became sick throwing up and couldnt sleep at night. doc then said to cutt down to 5mg bystolic and 60mg verap on this doseage after 3 weeks of going threw hell. I got sort of use to it - now though doc changed me to this dose 2.5 mg bystolic & 60mg verap a.m time daily - and 2.5 mg bystolic at night time - ugg !! gets the b.p down ok .
Avatar n tn The difference between the full cost of a treatment (which the uninsured often are charged), and the amount the insurance company tells them they will pay is often quite a bit. If you have cash and offer to pay up front (for a discount) you may get charged less than what they can get out of the insurance company, because it's less hassle and instant money for them. Just a thought, even if you had to borrow the money. Will your Endo accept results from another facility?

Avatar f tn Below is some info I have posted on here in the past about how to manage without insurance (free strips and free insulin). I'm a Type 1 without insurance too. Since diabetes is a pre-existing condition, insurance is very expensive. If anyone on here knows of any good prices on insurance for diabetics, please share--it would be greatly appreciated! Some great resources for locating free and low cost clinics are the two links I have listed below.
Avatar f tn In what country are you? In the USA, it is anywhere from $18,000 to $30,000.
Avatar f tn this should be the last month I have that high copay but you take that with the cost of the supplemental 200 and the SSI 110 and you are shelling out a 1000 a mo for medical which I know compared to some is nothing but I am trying to figure out what to do in future so I'm not living in my car taking pills....LOL. My Xifanan is the most expensive right now but to get any help with it will affect my supplemental.
Avatar m tn I also felt bad joint pain and gained a significant amount of weight during the month I was on Bystolic (about 10 to 15 pounds). I researched Bystolic and found that all these symptoms occur in other people who take Bystolic, and so I decided to get off of it (with the permission of the other doctors). I gradually weaned off of the medicine over a period of a little over two weeks. I stopped taking it on June 16.
Avatar f tn My insurance covered it with just my copay at our doctors office. I would call your insurance to see if they cover it or even partly cover it.
Avatar f tn That's with insurance^^ it's about $10-20,000 for vaginal dependin on complications needs...
Avatar n tn umm in the usa without insurance, n im chronic.
1036535 tn?1278502599 Looking at the EOB from insurance they repeatedly charged me for something that cost $89.72. The only thing I got more several times was Pepsi, and I know an 8 oz. can doesn't cost that much ;) I can't believe the stupid insurance company paid this right away, but haven't paid other, more legitimate things without a fight!
Avatar f tn Beyond annoyed. With my first pregnancy I had blue cross and it only cost $200 a month for my husband and I. And it was absolutely amazing. Now with this one we have aetna and since all the crazy healthcare act junk it cost us over $500 a month. And they don't even cover my 20 week anatomy scan. It goes towards my deductible which is extremely frustrating. Pretty angry I pay so much every month to make other people's lives easier essentially only to haveto stress about money myself.
Avatar f tn Yes you do, here in the UK we have the nhs so we don't have to pay, but other countries like US don't have nhs they have health insurance instead so, like with our car insurance, if u don't have insurance or ur insurance doesn't cover it then u have to pay
Avatar f tn You are getting a great deal. On SOC with my insurance, I paid $100. for the peg/interferon and $40.
Avatar m tn This varies with or w/o insurance. Let us know what meds you will be taking, and we can provide you with specifics. Please take the time to read about the % your liver can be damaged if you continue drinking AT ALL. Best of luck to you.
799360 tn?1239288130 My medical coverage was playing the fight game with the Rx on which one should cover it? So my suggestion is to call your insurance and ask them if they cover it at all? Good luck.
Avatar f tn Hi I am diagnosed with adenomyosis. I have bleeding almost everyday for 7 months now. I filled out the paperwork for a hysterectomy, but my insurance refuses to pay for it. I would be getting my uterus and cervix removed. How much do they cost out of pocket and is there any kind of financial assistance that would help me pay for the medical bill?
748907 tn?1233163781 But you will still need tests (different blood test, biopsy) and doctors visits so anyone with HCV needs health insurance in the USA. Period. At least until our current health system is overhauled. But don't hold your breath waiting because too many people are making a lot of money with the current system. HCV over time causes liver disease if you are infected and your body couldn't kill the virus itself. That is what you want to avoid. Without a liver you can live. Bones hurting?
1722607 tn?1335747858 Victrelis as a $200 per month coupon on their website. It covers my copay so the Vic is free.
Avatar n tn ve seen it as low as $3800. With insurance, I paid $35.00- at least until they change the insurance coverage. There are programs available out there. One place to look is www.needymeds.com. The medications for ms are so expensive, that you might not have to be poor to get help at this site. I'd try Biogen Idec first though.
Avatar f tn I live in NY and they have to keep me on medicaid till after the baby is born because weake to much to be on it bit my husbands work doesn't offer insurance so its kinda hard to afford other insurance right now .....
Avatar f tn My doc LOVES Bystolic. Both are Selective Betablockers and they say Bystolic has little or no side effect. I would give it a try. I have not used either but have heard very good things about it.
Avatar f tn Each insurer creates separate contracts at different price points for the same provider/facility. So a prenatal appointment with Dr X might cost $100 with Blue Cross Blue Shield but cost $200 with United. It is so stupid. In the next few years the federal government is pushing to make costs more even across the board. The problem with going without insurance is if anything goes wrong, like time in the NICU, you could end up in a serious financial situation.
419990 tn?1228259126 ) levels - it costs me $94 dollars with insurance! The total charge is like $335 or something - that is what they bill my insurance company. They only saw me two times for the blood and U/S but that was in 3 days (I paid $200 in 3 days!!). So if you count the gas I have to use to drive 45 mins each way to the clinic, the blood tests, shots, clomid, everything - I spent about $600 out of pocket (remember this was not using an IUI and I had a 70/30 split with my insurance) for one month.
