Because of my water being broken so long there was a high risk for infection so my daughter had to stay a few days in the nicu when she developed a low grade fever. However my midwife rocks because she allowed me the choice. I cools have stayed my labor artificially when my water broke but she gave me the choice to go home and wait it out. She is not anti epidural but sure does respect the mother's choice and does her best to give you your ideal birth.

I was in a half cast, basically on the back of my leg and below the foot for a touch over a week, so I was unable to move my ankle and leg and was on crutches. Then 2 days ago I went to the outpatients department and the doc took the cast off me and told me to start walking on it with the aid of crutches as it isn't the weight bearing bone. He said that the bone will heal by itself without the cast and even with me putting a bit of pressure on it.

I just watched a Hallmark movie called "The Courageous Heart of Irena Sendler". It was the true story of a woman who saved 2,500 Jewish children during WWII. It was so good! Did anyone else get to see it? You know, I love Hallmark movies! They're always good, decent, clean movies. No swearing, sex or violence, just a good story. Boy, is that hard to find anymore these days! I love these type of movies!

See the movie "The 4th Kind" I went to the premier of 2012... I was disappointed to say the least.. BUT, since we had to wait until 10pm (it was only 6pm).. We decided to go see another movie while waiting.. Oh my gosh.. it was THE FORTH KIND.. This is a true movie.. with actual footage of the things that happened to this people... I asked the doctor why my fibula looked like is still broken on the x-ray. Just watched The Happening and before it ended I was wanting to join those guys who were jumping off the buildings. I've seen some bad pictures over the years and this ranks with the worst of them.
