Do a "family movie night" gift basket pick out a good movie throw in some popcorn and those dollar boxes candies maybe a bottle of wine for the parents (you can get creative with the contents)...put it in a cute arrangement with a well written card! I do these for gifts when I'm not to sure what to get people..they go over really well!

well, as we all know christmas is around the corner and as always around this time of year i am on a tight budget, so i was wondering if any one could give me any gift basket ideas....for couples, elderly, kids ages 3-13, parents, and any other ideas you might have!!! THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!

So it's my husbands first baby, and we will definitely have the baby by July 1, so he won't technically be a father on Father's Day. I want to do something for him though. I'm thinking along the lines of a gift basket with snacks and hospital items. I don't mind a heart felt gift either, but I really don't want to get him anything cheesy. It seems like everything in Pinterest was cheesy! Anyway, anyone have any ideas? What are you doing for your new daddy on.

I am not sure if this is really a game, but I've always liked how when I've gone to baby showers, the host has left little cards out for the guests to write down their "advice" to the new mom (or mom again). My sister also did this and got great tips and advice and just personal notes that is sometimes overlooked at the baby shower because it's intended to be fun and everyone participating.

Send flowers to his office. Or a gift basket. Some drs have pictured of all the babies they delivered on the wall, at least that's why dr had about 11 yrs ago with my first child. The parents send them a thank you card and a pic of the baby. You can send the pic and card, and have flowers or a gift basket delivered.

I usually make a gift basket of his favorite thing. Coffee ( gift card or container) beef jerkey, gum, snickers, reeces, beer, little things for work ect. A nice card always means a lot.

Last year I went to Walmart and got heart shaped steel cookie cutters for like 3 dollars and made heart shaped pancakes for his breakfast in bed. Im making bd a Daddy Basket. Its kept hidden at his moms and when I go into labor shes going to bring it to him to the hospital. You put all their favorites in it: drinks, snacks, even books and or shirts. Just stuff to celebrate bd as a man bc when youre in labor NOBODY thinks about him. He deserves that recognition in my eyes.

Hubby is taking his 4wk test tomorrow and we are wondering if it would be okay to take a little gift to the NP. She has gone out of her way to meet our schedule, answer questions and return calls, help to get us assistance, etc and we both really like her. In fact I don't think we could of gotten this far without her! So... I make fall wreaths and would like to take one to her, but was not sure if this would cause any kind of problems, ethical or otherwise.

I am hurt by some lies he made and some promises he has broken, but I am literally going off on him I am trying to calm down and control my feelings but it's not so easy right now.......I keep thinking okay stress is not good for the baby just chill out and breathe, don't even talk to him or think about him or what he has done........then I just start crying hysterically. My sister is giving me her basket similar to a moses basket. She used it for a short while around the home if for example she was going to sit outside for a bit, and then would carry him back inside without waking him. I'm not sure exactly how long they can be used for (maybe the first 2 months?) but it is not a really long time. They are a little awkward to travel with so I would mainly use it around home.

It is broken right below my thumb. I had played a whole 3month basket ball with a broken wrist. After I found out that it was broken I got a cast for 3weeks, then I have been wearing a splint for 3weeks. When I first hurt my wrist Very small red dots began to appear around wear I broke my wrist and up my arm. There are about 30 of them below my thumb and they begin to spread out as they move up my arm. I thought the red dots ment that my wrist is broken.

What if you made it like a game night gift basket? That way its more obvious what your intentions are. Like a board game, cookies, maybe a box of popcorn or something too?
