I was on biaxin for that purpose (along with another med to kill the bugs after they came out of the cyst), but had a reaction to it after several months; so the dr switched me to flagyl and a different antibiotic. It's a fair question why the dr would give you two cyst busters. Sounds like a lot. Good luck with the new job!! Sounds like a good one.

As I understand Methadone is broken down by an enzyme which is greatly retarded by Clairithromycin, this ay cause an overdose to occur in the user. I have been taking Methadone for 5 years now (was at 180mg/day now at 10mg/day) can I safely take the Clairithromycin? I agree with Vance2335, you should consult your doctor on this question. Your concern is reasonable. Biaxin is an antibiotic use to threat bacterial infections. And, yes syphilis is a bacterial infection. However, whether the medicine will affect Syphilis test result will depend on the medicine, when the medicine was taken. Then the bumps started to hurt REALLY bad and they turned into sores or blisters. EVERY area that i shaved was covered with these bumps and sores and some of them were filled with a clear fluid. The pain was so bad at one point that i could hardly walk straight. There would be sharp, stabbing pains in the area. My doc perscribed Biaxin xl 2x 500 and prednisone 50mg 4 days if needed. Last night I was so bad I took the pred at 8pm. This morning I took the biaxin at 6am. It's been about 8 hours and my heart has sped up from about 70 to 85-90 for about an hour and won't come down. I'm afraid to take my next dose of prednisone but I've been on short bursts before with no issue. Is a resting heart rate around 90 something to be worried about?

If you order online from a reputable/well-known website, you may be able to get a better price than at the corner pharmacy. If you belong to WalMart or perhaps Target or similar stores, I understand their pharmacy charges are quite reasonable.

i experience a lot of upper body aches especially in shoulders and under and around arms also many headdaches and tightness in head along with frequent bowel movements and nausea.and last but not least , my pallets taste like the medication and no matter how much water i drink " it doesn't seem to go away making my desire to eat , non-exesitant..i actually have to force myself to eat .

About a week ago I had unwanted oral contact with semen. Approximately 2 days later, I had a sore throat. About 2-3 days after that, I had a nurse look at my throat which was very sore at that point and she told me that I had a serious infection and to have a strep test immediately. I went to the doctor and both the strep and mono tests came back negative.

I am a man. Next day, having been prescribed Biaxin for bronchitis, I took four 500 mg pills at once. I know this was foolish, but I had panicked. 5 days later I developed an infected ingrown hair at the base of my penis. the hair loss was happening more with the generic biaxin the one that was not causing yeast infections.... so I don't know if its caused by that....... knowing all the facts that I listed about the two...... which do you think I should start again tonight?
