As I understand Methadone is broken down by an enzyme which is greatly retarded by Clairithromycin, this ay cause an overdose to occur in the user. I have been taking Methadone for 5 years now (was at 180mg/day now at 10mg/day) can I safely take the Clairithromycin? I was taking Biaxin 500mg twice a day for a week and then took the rpr two days later. could this affect the results in any way?

If I was infected with any of the above, would an 8 day course of Biaxin resolved these? And yes it was 8 days and not the usual 10 for whatever reason. 2. I've read on this site that most of these STD's resolve themselves within a few months even without treatment, but other medical and government websites specifically say the exact opposite and say only way to get rid of infection is to seek treatment. I will however agree with you that the days after having fun and drinking copious amounts of alcohol can leave you feeling down and anxious. I suffer with anxiety, so when I drink, i'm miserable for typically a few days afterwards. So while drinking may seem like fun while you're enjoying your night, just remember how you're going to feel the following day. I also think depending on how much you drink, you definitely will experience negative reactions.

I was on biaxin for that purpose (along with another med to kill the bugs after they came out of the cyst), but had a reaction to it after several months; so the dr switched me to flagyl and a different antibiotic. I did not drink any more than I usually do, and I am no stranger to alcohol and can tolerate it very well at the worse of times. This time was even scarier than the first blackout.
