ENT said I had some colonies in nose soUsed Bacrtoban for 3 days and slight pain in my nose went away per ENT. I stopped the bactroban after 3 days because I was not sleeping but I was also using Nasocort and maybe that was the culprit.
Cold gone sinus not infected but having some pain that feels like a tooth ache and slight tickle or sting in nostrils when breathing. Left septum is a little enlarged.
I presented with only one sore at my cheekbone and was given clindamycin orally for 14 days and Bactroban ointment for topical use. The sore was believed to be an early indication of MRSA. I quickly developed cellulitis and swelling near, but not touching, the apparent abscess, as well as blisters in my nose. I used the mupiricin.(Bactroban) to keep the nasal blisters moist. Now diagnosed with post-herpetic neuralgia, but I still have blisters in my nose treating with Bactroban.
For rash around the lips, a mild soap or soap substitute, such as Dove or Cetaphil should be used for washing. Scrubbing should be avoided.Also apply topical antibiotic creams and if the symptoms persist then oral antibiotics may be needed.

I saw another doctor, who said I had folliculitis, and he prescribe Bactroban(Mupirocin) for me. He also hints me the folliculitis cannot be cured completely. I have to put Bactroban on the infected part to relieve the symptom, when I found acnes symptom become more severe. Then, I put Bactroban on my face. At the first 2 days, nothing happen. I therefore put more Bactroban on.
There are red spots all where he shaved and they are still here. They dont hurt him and dont normally itch. I dont know what it is. I have been checked for STD's and previous to this so did he. it couldnt be an STD. could you help me.
You have told here to apply mupirocin (Bactroban®) twice daily for a week. I want to know that if application of mupirocin (Bactroban®) shows improvement but is not cured fully in one week, can I continue its application for longer period? If yes then for how long.

I was prescribed bactroban. The physician I saw said it was a mild skin infection. I used the ointment and on Tuesday, May 5, I woke up with a killer headache and a sore tongue. I continued to use the bactroban until Wednesday, May 6. My tongue was white so, I went back to urgent care. The physician said that I was probably having an allergic reaction to the bactroban and prescribed me an oral antibiotic. I used the new medicine with no issues.
Accidentally, I sprayed mupirocin/Dextamethasone 5GM/45ML/0.1%, a compounded nasal preparation, in my eye. I rinsed the eye with water for about one minute. Eye has had 5 retina surgeries, has band kerapothy, and no lens. PCC told me it's ok because the mupirocin is also used for eye preparations. Correct?
I got a burn on my left thigh about two weeks ago and was treated for cellulitis with 500mg keflex three times a day. When I only had four pills left, I was coming down with some sort of virus, and found it impossible to stomach the antibiotics, so I stopped taking them. A few days later, I noticed that the skin around the burn was still warm to the touch (not burning hot but definitely warmer than the rest of my skin) and that I still had a low-grade fever (ranging from 99.0-99.9).
I used it for 3-4 days and the irritation aggravated and i could see inflamation in new areas on the penis head. Then I went to my GP and he changed the cream to Bactroban. I used it for 3 days and over these 3 days, my skin became red and there was irritation all over the Penis head. The GP asked me to stop both the medicines and he is of opinion that, I may have a reaction of bactroban and has developed into a fungal infection.
I even had a swelling inside that I could feel when touched. Used Bactroban it was of no help, consulted a GP, he gave me few medicines and a laxative and Xylocaine gel and Oxerute creme for a week and it subsidized. Now after 10 days of the fissure heal i have been having one on the left external side, probably on the 5' o clock position. I'm using Oxerute again now. Could this be due to Herpes?
I have had this thing on my face for about a year now that comes up in small blisters and then crusts over and peels off. It is located on my cheek and I recently had a test for cold sores and it came back negative, but I put cold sore cream by chemists own (aciclovir 5%) on it and that seems to work. What is it?? I remember placing Bactroban on it which seemed to speed up the healing process, could this cold sore cream help a bacterial infection or could bactroban help a cold sore?
The white spots appears to be gone, but I have serious irritation on the folds of shaft skin. I tried to stay at home, ventilate it being naked in front of a fan and used baby powder for a couple of days. But, once, I get out of the house, and the skin is rubbed against. A sharp pain starts and irritation starts killing me. The last week, I spent most of the time at home. But, no progress is made.

I recently took him into the Dr and they prescribed Bactroban and said to put Eucerin lotion on it inbetween Bactroban treatments for 10 days. It does not seem to be healing up. I am not sure if it is because he bothers it and is keeping it from healing. Is there anything else I can be doing to help this cut heal and close?

I get boils "down there" and use prescribed Bactroban Cream on them after applying a warm compress. They never get red (I catch them early) and usually go away one to two weeks of medicating. I currently have a boil that this med is not helping. I usually get the boils in the same places once or twice a year, but this is a new one and it's in a very inconvenient spot. For the past week I've been waking up to another zit in my armpit. I've never had zits there and I'm 29. I have more than 5. Should I pop theses? Why am I getting these. They're very painful.
Her body is scared up from over the years of picking her skin. Her Dr. perscribed her bactroban cream. It keeps them from becoming infected. She once had to have one lanced, We are at our wits end. I am afraid that she may get something from all the open sores. We try to keep them bandaged up with keflex bandages and keflex gauze, using the Bactroban cream, but she seems to managed to remove the bandages just to scratch them and then she will cover them back up. Can you help us please.

I have had these bumps not to sure what to call them i have had them for about 2-3 years. they are mainly on the back of my head. they are itchy and sometimes painful when i lay down on them. i thought it was just acne but have NEVER gone away.
I have gone to a few dermatologists but nothing they have given me has worked. not sure what they are if someone here could help me find out what they are and how to get rid of them that would be great.

I approached to a doctor he prescribe me some antibiodic caps and Bactroban (Cream) , Thank God, Now i cured. but still my new skin is very thin and sensitive. Please advice me which soap i have to used and what precaution to be taken after intercourse (should be rinse with any antibacterial liquid). Also, please suggests me any cream to thicken my skin its very thin i am afraid during intercouse it may rub and damage. I'd appreciate you....please advice me.
