I presented with only one sore at my cheekbone and was given clindamycin orally for 14 days and Bactroban ointment for topical use. The sore was believed to be an early indication of MRSA. I quickly developed cellulitis and swelling near, but not touching, the apparent abscess, as well as blisters in my nose. I used the mupiricin.(Bactroban) to keep the nasal blisters moist. Now diagnosed with post-herpetic neuralgia, but I still have blisters in my nose treating with Bactroban.
The white spots appears to be gone, but I have serious irritation on the folds of shaft skin. I tried to stay at home, ventilate it being naked in front of a fan and used baby powder for a couple of days. But, once, I get out of the house, and the skin is rubbed against. A sharp pain starts and irritation starts killing me. The last week, I spent most of the time at home. But, no progress is made.
Would you please advise?

I used it for 3-4 days and the irritation aggravated and i could see inflamation in new areas on the penis head. Then I went to my GP and he changed the cream to Bactroban. I used it for 3 days and over these 3 days, my skin became red and there was irritation all over the Penis head. The GP asked me to stop both the medicines and he is of opinion that, I may have a reaction of bactroban and has developed into a fungal infection.
I remember placing Bactroban on it which seemed to speed up the healing process, could this cold sore cream help a bacterial infection or could bactroban help a cold sore? Please help
P.s the blisters come up small and then pop and crust over yellow like a weeping cut, it has only had one big blister before. I placed betadine on it and that seemed to help but so did bactroban, it also tingles before it comes up and gets itchy but NEVER hurts!
There are red spots all where he shaved and they are still here. They dont hurt him and dont normally itch. I dont know what it is. I have been checked for STD's and previous to this so did he. it couldnt be an STD. could you help me.
I approached to a doctor he prescribe me some antibiodic caps and Bactroban (Cream) , Thank God, Now i cured. but still my new skin is very thin and sensitive. Please advice me which soap i have to used and what precaution to be taken after intercourse (should be rinse with any antibacterial liquid). Also, please suggests me any cream to thicken my skin its very thin i am afraid during intercouse it may rub and damage. I'd appreciate you....please advice me.
I went back to the doctor straight away and he said it was a rash caused by the Bactroban Cream and he gave me Dovate Cream to apply on the rash area. He said I should use it on my chin as well and that the infection (Cellulitis) has gone and it is just scar tissue.
What I would like to know is - Is this a rash from Bactroban Cream as it is not continuos spreading down my chin but a healthy skin layer and then the rash?

Then I went to see my dermatologist Feb. 7 2014. He again suspected my symptoms as HSV 1/2 and ordered me to do a blood test and prescribed me valtrex for five days.

Her body is scared up from over the years of picking her skin. Her Dr. perscribed her bactroban cream. It keeps them from becoming infected. She once had to have one lanced, We are at our wits end. I am afraid that she may get something from all the open sores. We try to keep them bandaged up with keflex bandages and keflex gauze, using the Bactroban cream, but she seems to managed to remove the bandages just to scratch them and then she will cover them back up. You have told here to apply mupirocin (Bactroban®) twice daily for a week. I want to know that if application of mupirocin (Bactroban®) shows improvement but is not cured fully in one week, can I continue its application for longer period? If yes then for how long.

ENT said I had some colonies in nose soUsed Bacrtoban for 3 days and slight pain in my nose went away per ENT. I stopped the bactroban after 3 days because I was not sleeping but I was also using Nasocort and maybe that was the culprit.
Cold gone sinus not infected but having some pain that feels like a tooth ache and slight tickle or sting in nostrils when breathing. Left septum is a little enlarged.
I get boils "down there" and use prescribed Bactroban Cream on them after applying a warm compress. They never get red (I catch them early) and usually go away one to two weeks of medicating. I currently have a boil that this med is not helping. I usually get the boils in the same places once or twice a year, but this is a new one and it's in a very inconvenient spot. ve had this red shiny spot on the head of my penis and i have tried a cream (=Bactroban-mupirocin calcium) and basically nothing happened..i am 16 years old and from what i searched most men that have experienced this got checked for stds and nothing but some say it could be some sort of fungus..and as i keep searching for answers i get more anxious about this and i don't know what to do..
Treatment of AKN includes suppression of the inflammation with antibiotics and steroid gels or intralesional steroid injections. So apply antibiotic cream like Neosporin or bactroban. If the symptoms persist then oral antibiotics and steroids may be needed. Please consult a dermatologist in that case.
Larger bumps of AKN present for a while or if not responding to treatments may need surgical removal.
i took him in to the emergency room and the Dr. prescrived bactroban in cream and told me to wash it regularly and said that by the next day it should be better. but its been 2 days since then and i been following the orders but i do not see it getting better, on the contrare it seems to be getting worse.. and how long does it take until it goes back to normal? he's not complaining of pain only when i apply the ointment.
