It turns out I now have several of these bumps on the front of my waist (around where my belt line is) and little black dots that almost look like blackheads. Last night I put rubbing alcohol on one of them and it immediately burst open. Today, they are sore and itch.
I also suffer from keloid scars on my chest and back because of severe acne in my junior high days. I am wondering if this is just acne acting up again or something more severe. The use of google suggested eczema or scabies.
I have bad acne too I'm 20 weeks pregnant with my 2nd and with my 1st daughter I also had bad acne. I've tried everything and like above its hormonal....I will say white antibacterial dial soap helps some. Get your face, chest, back or wherever the acne is wet then scrub w the dial, let it dry totally then use a clean wash cloth with hot water to wipe it off. Don't dry your face after let it dry by itself. This seemed to help me most.
I was told to use rubbing alcohol on my face before and/or after showering. But I can't stand alcohol since I got pregnant. I try facial washes and moisturizers. It seems 2 help sum.

I have discovered a few bumps on my upper lip, about 3 small ones and I have put rubbing alcohol on them shea butter and can't seem to get rid of them. I am self conscious about them. one favors a blackhead and I'm hoping it's nothing of great concern. I also have oxy cream whaich is 10% benzoyl peroxide. any suggestions as to how I can clear up this problem for goos. on the touch they feel small but they are visible.

I’ve visited this forum so much in hopes to gain enough courage to stop my addiction. I’ve always loved the smell of rubbing alcohol since i was younger. In 2021 I started huffing regularly by pouring rubbing alcohol on a rag and huffing until the smell is gone . I don’t do it because it gets me high it just makes me feel soooo relaxed and calm. Plus, it smells soooo good to me. My mouth is watering right now smh. It’s now 2024 and I’ve had ENOUGH.
I was horrified to see blood had gone through to the back side of the alcohol pad that was touching my finger, although i did not see any on my finger. I had no open cuts or skin on this finger. I did not have immediate access to a sink, so i sanitized my hands with hand sanitizer. On the outer part of my hand, I had cracked skin on my knuckle, that I do not believe to be recently bleeding, I could be mistaken.

I have been applying several warm compresses daily, washing it with mild acne cleanser, and wiping it down with various items including witch hazel, rubbing alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, and apple cider vinegar. It doesn't look any different. The redness does decrease after I apply warm compresses, but always regains its color. There is no pain or itching, and it feels just like the rest of my skin, only red. Is this normal? Or should I be concerned of possible excess infection?
By sunday morning after more acne drying medicine I noticed it had a whitehead on it. I popped it and some puss came out.I put rubbing alcohol on it to dry it up. by the afternoon more puss had come to a head. I put pressure to get the rest of it out w/ more alcohol after. it is now monday morning and it is still a bit sensitive, a bit dry and still one (smaller than yesterday) red bump at the corner of my mouth.
No yellow crust and never what I would consider a cluster.
I am not a doctor but I have had dry skin my whole life & when I was younger the doctors would tell me to stay away from chocolate as much as possible as it can break you out, sunlight if you are constantly in the sun your skin can break out & caffeine. My husband has a remedy that works on my me.
Pt is a 23 yo Caucasian male presenting with a rash over the entirety of his back with blotchy concentration on the lateral area over the latissimus dorsi and solid concentration over the shoulder area. The rash is red in nature, does not itch, is not raised. The severity comes and goes without known cause, but remains constantly. Presentation began 2 months ago and has increased in severity since.
Pt has no known food or drug allergies.
