you can discuss with your doctor about starting only half the starting dose initially to give you some assurance of its side effects. paxil can be sedating so most people take it at night. the top 3 side effects are headahces, nausea and sexual dysfunction. all of these resolve over time as the body becomes accustomed to the new medication.

Went to doctor to get steroid shot they usually work but nothing. Doctor also prescribed Azelastine took awhile to pick it up. There was mix up with where it was sent. Was I glad when I did pick it up... HELL YEAH! Not only did it help with allergies but that hellish itch was gone totally. Just like that UNBELIEVABLE! Don't know why. Can't find any info that Azelastine would help with that problem. BUT IT DID! there is no doubt in my mind. Its not a coincidence.

My question is will any of the medications i was subscribed or taken in combination have symptons of severe memory loss?

Can you tell me about its side effects? Recently I went for a checkup and my doctor gave me Metformin for weight loss (It suddently went up to 99 kg though I was at 85 before and was following a strict diet plan). I don't have diabetes and I haven't been diagnosed with PCOS, and I think Metformin is generally used for these two issues. So I'm concened whether I should really be Metformin. lots of psyc drugs cause nasty side effects and nasty withdrawls. Ive been on zoloft for five years and have liked it because for me it had no side effects. these meds react with people differently. I have GAD and am getting off zoloft bc I need something stronger but it helped with low- moderate anxiety and my depression.
You missed the most important measure. The heart rate. A blood pressure measurement without a heartrate is meaningless. A drop to 58/47 is unacceptable. There are also "missing pieces" in the reasons why the various meds are prescribed. I think Gabapentin is a medication with many side effects that is overprescribed, but that's an opinion of one. I can see no reason for prescribing Gabapenton for numb hands.
The sex drive is good to know. Citalopram also gave me that side effect. I am glad the Wellbutrin did not make you gain weight. I wonder how long until it is out of my system. The doctor said if i quit cold turkey on Citalopram, it can cause bad side effects. That's why I am taking half a pill of it. I know you are not a doctor, or maybe you are, but how long until you think the Citalopram is out of my system? Thanks!

Thanks for your suggestions! I went out and bought everything you recommended. I am up to 4 HCl pills per meal, and I still haven't felt any negative side effects from it. My symptoms seems little better so far, but are still around. Maybe I just need more? I am cautiously optimistic. I need to look into the yeast-connection more seriously as well. Does the HCl usually start working immediately, or does it take awhile? I've been taking it for about 4 days...
Hi. I'm assuming you're referring to Gemzar (generic name: gemcitabine), which is a chemotherapy drug commonly used for the treatment of pancreatic cancer. I'm not sure what particular side effect of gemcitabine you're thinking of which could be counteracted by taking Lugol's solution. I have used this drug on a lot of my patients and have never used Lugol's to counteract any of Gemzar's adverse effects.
