Went to doctor to get steroid shot they usually work but nothing. Doctor also prescribed Azelastine took awhile to pick it up. There was mix up with where it was sent. Was I glad when I did pick it up... HELL YEAH! Not only did it help with allergies but that hellish itch was gone totally. Just like that UNBELIEVABLE! Don't know why. Can't find any info that Azelastine would help with that problem. BUT IT DID! there is no doubt in my mind. Its not a coincidence.

However you can find plenty of digestive enzymes supplements and betaine HCI with pepsin supplements on the market. Some brands contain both enzymes and betaine HCI with pepsin.

You need stomach acid to absorb essential nutrients and kill off bacteria, fungi and parasites. insufficient stomach acid is the most common cause of acid reflux conditions! She stopped the PPI nexium, started betaine HCI with pepsin supplements (to help with low stomach acid) and digestive enzyme supplements and her severe GERD and LPR were gone; suffered both severely for 5 years. After a year and a half, her stomach is "retrained" with the betaine HCI to help produce its own acid. She only needs digestive enzymes now with meals.
I'm seriously addicted to Diphenhydramine (in Benadryl, etc.). Is anyone here addicted to this stuff that seems to be NOT addictive to everyone else but me? I finally found a place on the internet that talks about being addicted to Diphenhydramine HCI Like I am. I started feeling better, but after the 30 day supply, I began feeling it all come back. Saw GI and he put me on Dexilant 30 day supply and that did not help.
I went back to ENT. She put me back on everything plus methlprednisolone (6 day). I started feeling better for a good month. Even stopped the sleeping pill.
Then I started feeling it all come back. Went to ER after a weekend of suffering.

The doctor said i need to take a medicine metformin HCI.. but i did not follow my doctor. im afraid because if i take a medicine every day my liver or kidney maybe it will weak someday. So know i limit my foods a take every day specially sweets foods.
My mother has severely low stomach acid and also has a hiatus hernia as well. Despite the hernia, taking digestive enzyme supplements and betaine HCI with pepsin supplements is a winner. No longer suffers GERD, LPR and 95% improved with gastritis. 25 years of drugs did a lot of damage and was almost fatal. 1 year of non drug treatment - priceless.
currently im taking oxybutynine hci for overactive bladder since i had a ultra sound and they found nothing. btw im 20 yrs old healthy male but all these symptoms appeared after my sexual encounter.. it should be a std right? how could my sexual encounter with this person cause me overactive bladder?
Also, I take a syrup for common cold and influenza (dosage teaspoonful 5ml which contains 160mg paracetamol, 1mg chlorpheniramine maleate, 15mg pseudoephedrine HCI, and 4.5mg dextromethorphan HBr).
I'm going into some special urgent medical examination for a new job:
1- Liver test (Hepatitis B and C)
2- General blood test (Biochemical analysis)
3- Urine test
Would my antibiotic (augmentin 1g) and the above medication affect the results of the above tests?
I continued take the supps but also researched this issue and stumbled across HCI Betaine also known as hydroclhloric acid. Apparently, there is such thing as having too little acid in the stomach which leads to symptoms such as: gas, bloating, poor digestion, GERD, acid reflux and a whole host of other issues. I got a bottle of this stuff for 9.99 and have been taking it with each meal. Guess what..
