Common Questions and Answers about Average cost of atripla with insurance

atripla

Avatar n tn s office without general anesthesia. Local anesthetic may be used. For those who have had one of these done, what is the average cost? My insurance does cover it, but I have a fairly high deductible, so for all practical purposes whatever it costs is what I'm paying and I'd like to know about what I'm in for.
Avatar n tn No it varies. An average would be an extra $1500/eye.
Avatar f tn Dr Zenn at Duke told me the first step of Diep will cost sixty thousand.. with tmy insurance paying eighty percent of what they think he should have charged. I have Mega Life and they do not pay well. They only pay a maximum of two thousand for ambulatory procedures. Would breast reductioin and lift by ambulatory? Would tissue expander placement be ambulatory. How much would that cost... a range? How much for the implant placement. Is it ambulatory as well?
Avatar n tn m doing so if anyone could give me an estimate our breakdown of the cost of having a baby (like all the doctor visits, bloodwork, whatever else) and what insurance covers... i guess like how much it costs with and without insurance. any help from moms who have already given birth would be extremely appreciated.
Avatar n tn hey ladies.....do you guys know what is the average cost of IVF if we use my own eggs and sperms? If we use donor's eggs, how much it will cost more? Somebody mentioned to me it is at least $10,000 for a try. Thanks very much!
Avatar f tn Can anyone tell me the average amount of having a normal vaginal delivery in a hospital?
Avatar n tn Wow, what a range of cost. As for insurance most (all?) have a deductible, I think mine is something like $1K with a maximum out-of-pocket of something like $5K if all is done "in-network". The $149K sounds like more than my open heart surgery (MVR) with 5 days in the ICU cost. I have seen only small bills from many specialists and labs tests. Nothing I'd complain about, my coverage medicare plus a UHC did their duty.
Avatar n tn s HIV infection. The average chance of transmission by fellatio, for the oral partner if the penile partner has HIV, has been calculated at 1 chance in 10,000. That's equivalent to giving oral to infected men once daily for 27 years before infection might be likely. Therefore, I would not have recommended PEP. But that's a judgment call; I'm not faulting the doc who prescribed it, especially if you presented with great anxiety. As for the specific PEP drugs, I have no advice.
Avatar f tn All 3 of my deliveries have cost in excess of $20,000, thankful most was covered by health insurance. Pregnant with #4.
483814 tn?1214311480 However, a conservative estimate might be somewhere in the neighborhood of 40,000 US $. With rescue drugs, biopsy, etc. the cost can easily exceed 150,000 US $.
Avatar n tn I have eight implants four on top and four on the bottom. My pair of dentures made for these implants do not fit properly and I would like to try another dentist at this point. I would like to know what the "average" cost of a denture to go over these implants will be - with and without a milled bar. I live in Central VA. I realize that it is impossible to have an exact figure, but I would like to know around what they will cost so I can compare the differences. Thank you.
Avatar m tn Atripla is not the first line drug for nPEP and it's not given for a month.
Avatar m tn FYI, it would seem you are confusing CD4 count with viral load. VL can become undectable with Atripla (and would be very good news!). But CD4 would not change or would rise. I would advise that you learn these detals. Over the years, survival with HIV is best in patients who understand their test results and can converse knowledgably with their doctors about it. Your doctor or case manager will be happy to help educate you.
Avatar n tn If the insurance companies were not in the loop, then the cost would probably be cheaper. A few years ago I had to have an h.pylori test. I had it done through my mother's doctor, who goes by "insurance" cost instead of "real" cost. The test cost over $300, even though I was paying with cash and not actually going through an insurance company.
Avatar m tn Late at night on 6/11, I had brief unprotected insertive vaginal intercourse with a 22 year old CSW (stripper in Vegas) of unknown risk. I've read on this site that very few CSWs in North America are HIV positive, but she was Asian (she said Japanese, but I don't really know) with a pretty thick accent, so I don't know how long she has been in this country. The potential exposure lasted no longer than 30 seconds and there was no ejaculation.
Avatar f tn The total out-of-pocket wihout insurance would be $2400 a year. With insurance it would be $1900 a year. So now the total cost of medical care with United catastrophic insurance is $6300 and uninsured out-of-pocket cost is $3600. The costs of outpatient procedures and other things are generally comparable to that and I'm not going to bother doing the math on them as I'm not familiar with the costs there.
1339501 tn?1285439404 When I was pregnant I had tri-care (military health insurance) and it was covered 100%. If I were you I would contact the insurance agency to find out everything, then switch ob's. I've never heard of an ob/gyn demanding money up front before you go into labor.
1483631 tn?1319228646 What is the average cost of 1 IVF cycle? I saw my doctor today and he said 5 grand (he's doing a study which will cover the meds) is it a good deal for one shot? He said the chances are 50% (I had a baby naturally 4 years ago now both my tubes are blocked. The other option is lap surgery which has an unknown outcome and will probably cost the same. What woUld you do?
Avatar m tn can anyone give me an idea of what interferon costs im just looking for a round about figure so i can start planning to try and afford it i know what my insurance will cover im looking for either the cost beofre or without insurance as well as with insurance or just what you paid for it and if you live in georgia and have coventry as your insurance provider i would really like to chat with you about the costs
Avatar n tn So here they go, another year without health insurance because they can’t come up with the monthly premiums for coverage, and on top of that, now they will get penalized for not having health coverage. I am watching my kids get sicker and sicker and I fear for her safety as she still cannot get her screening for her cancer. I need some answers. I can’t sit back and continue to watch my son and daughter in law get sicker by the day because they cannot get their thyroid medications.
Avatar f tn My insurance charges $150 a month. Some insurance charge a percentage of the cost of the drugs. That is what we are fighting against in NC.
629668 tn?1222914854 It also depends on your company, because we also have United Healthcare, and we do not have any fertility coverage. I have not done IVF, but with meds, it will probably cost a minimum of $10,000 (depending on which meds you take, the amounts and for how long). I've been to two different REs, and I'm not sure if the costs are different, depending on whether or not it goes through insurance, but the costs they quoted me (without meds), were less than feather's and sarge's above.
393432 tn?1212209678 I have insurance and the cost for one month of Bariclude is going to cost nearly $400. Does anyone have any tips, hints, clues, etc. on how to afford this?
1012649 tn?1256229718 Hi. My doctor recently changed my meds from Atripla to the same combination but in two tablets which is Sustiva and Truvada which has emtricitibine in it too. I checked, and these are the same ingredients in Atripla. He changed it because I had a "blip" in my viral load. Viral load was at one point after taking Atripla "undedectable" for about 10 months, then went up to 45 then 3 months later tp 65.
Avatar f tn Covers some of it? Phone posted the question on it's on.

1722607 tn?1335747858 Do most insurance companies cover the cost of treatment? I have Care First Blue Cross. Anyone out there have the same insurance?
Avatar f tn Your doctor was giving the cost of the meds if you were paying out of pocket (with no insurance or assistance). Depending on which meds you are one, his figure is low. However, if the pharmacy said your insurance company approved the medications and that your payment will be $29 a month (your co-pay), then that is what you should be paying. There should be no surprises. Most pharmacies will not send out Hep C medications until they know they will get paid.
