Atripla cost with insurance

Common Questions and Answers about Atripla cost with insurance

atripla

Avatar m tn FYI, it would seem you are confusing CD4 count with viral load. VL can become undectable with Atripla (and would be very good news!). But CD4 would not change or would rise. I would advise that you learn these detals. Over the years, survival with HIV is best in patients who understand their test results and can converse knowledgably with their doctors about it. Your doctor or case manager will be happy to help educate you.
Avatar m tn tenofovir cost in india is from as low as 19usd....and lamivudine is out of guidelines for hbv, what kind of nazy country are you from to allow such distortions of healthcare?
1012649 tn?1256229718 Hi. My doctor recently changed my meds from Atripla to the same combination but in two tablets which is Sustiva and Truvada which has emtricitibine in it too. I checked, and these are the same ingredients in Atripla. He changed it because I had a "blip" in my viral load. Viral load was at one point after taking Atripla "undedectable" for about 10 months, then went up to 45 then 3 months later tp 65.
Avatar m tn Atripla is not the first line drug for nPEP and it's not given for a month.
Avatar m tn I had sex with prostitute on 01 Nov 2012 with condom but the condom broke after ejaculation.. and after 4 to 5 days i had symptoms like red body rash with small pimples.. 01 Dec 2012 i went to doctor and he took my elisa test which was negative and he suggested me to take trustiva ( atripla ) for next 3 months and do my elisa again. then i went to other doctor and he said how the first doctor can put u on trustiva ( atripla ) as ur result elisa test is negative....
1615215 tn?1298648648 Last year I got diagnosed with MS in the states , now I was supposed to get my treatment back home , however im having problems with my insurance here.. When I was there I heard that if I did some kind of couse in the country for at least 6 months I could get the treatment. I ll apreciate if anyone knows anything about this subject in Maryland or DC ..
Avatar n tn The difference between the full cost of a treatment (which the uninsured often are charged), and the amount the insurance company tells them they will pay is often quite a bit. If you have cash and offer to pay up front (for a discount) you may get charged less than what they can get out of the insurance company, because it's less hassle and instant money for them. Just a thought, even if you had to borrow the money. Will your Endo accept results from another facility?
Avatar m tn My son was resently raped, we have started him on the Atripla with in 12 hours after the attack and i am so hopefull after reading your wife is Negative.
Avatar n tn About a month ago I was with a female prostitute. Though we had safe penetration intercourse with a condom I performed oral sex on her and she on me as well. Last week I became symptomatic; swollen lymph nodes, pain in armpits and groin, fever, mild candida, tiredness. I went to my primary Dr, he gave me an Elisa, that came up negative this week. Before recieving the results, I took an expired home test that came up positive.
Avatar n tn Hello Doctor, you are right and i completely agree with you ... i know my risk was very minimal and both doctors explained that for me ... but they both said better be safe than sorry ... i have no doubts about the PEP that the current doctor gave ... the only concern i have is that it's written that i should not take Atripla with Combivir nor kaletra ... (obviously the doctor dismissed that ...
1470597 tn?1286869087 But when Atripla cost about $1500/mth,and you have stock in pharmaceuticals...However,I have found out that Germany has a few pt's rights and one is the right to med. records.Minus Dr.'s notes.I am not a denialist, but you don't know the entire story. And there are approx. 60 factors that cause FP in Elisa/WB,and vbiral load testing is not specific to HIV.VL tests don't even have the ability to isolate or measure actual viruses.
Avatar f tn I started meds fairly soon after. I started Atripla in 2010. It got be undetectable quickly and has kept that way. I never had major bad side effects on it. I did have some crazy dreams and still do. After I was on it for a couple years, things began to slowly deteriorate. I began getting panic attacks, and bouts of tachycardia and palpitations. I had a history of those but it seemed to get worse.
Avatar f tn Below is some info I have posted on here in the past about how to manage without insurance (free strips and free insulin). I'm a Type 1 without insurance too. Since diabetes is a pre-existing condition, insurance is very expensive. If anyone on here knows of any good prices on insurance for diabetics, please share--it would be greatly appreciated! Some great resources for locating free and low cost clinics are the two links I have listed below.
Avatar f tn In what country are you? In the USA, it is anywhere from $18,000 to $30,000.
Avatar f tn this should be the last month I have that high copay but you take that with the cost of the supplemental 200 and the SSI 110 and you are shelling out a 1000 a mo for medical which I know compared to some is nothing but I am trying to figure out what to do in future so I'm not living in my car taking pills....LOL. My Xifanan is the most expensive right now but to get any help with it will affect my supplemental.
Avatar f tn My insurance covered it with just my copay at our doctors office. I would call your insurance to see if they cover it or even partly cover it.
Avatar f tn That's with insurance^^ it's about $10-20,000 for vaginal dependin on complications needs...
Avatar n tn umm in the usa without insurance, n im chronic.
Avatar n tn Thanks Liz, so I don't have to take these PEP tablets (Atripla)? It cost me quite alot. And on another note, I know you guys do not approve of PCR RNA tests...but how reliable can a negative PCR test at 10 days post exposure be?
1036535 tn?1278502599 Looking at the EOB from insurance they repeatedly charged me for something that cost $89.72. The only thing I got more several times was Pepsi, and I know an 8 oz. can doesn't cost that much ;) I can't believe the stupid insurance company paid this right away, but haven't paid other, more legitimate things without a fight!
Avatar f tn Beyond annoyed. With my first pregnancy I had blue cross and it only cost $200 a month for my husband and I. And it was absolutely amazing. Now with this one we have aetna and since all the crazy healthcare act junk it cost us over $500 a month. And they don't even cover my 20 week anatomy scan. It goes towards my deductible which is extremely frustrating. Pretty angry I pay so much every month to make other people's lives easier essentially only to haveto stress about money myself.
Avatar n tn My partner was exposed to hiv during anal intercourse and is currently taking my Atripla. I am undetectable. Should we continue the Atripla or should he be on nPEP at all ??
Avatar f tn Yes you do, here in the UK we have the nhs so we don't have to pay, but other countries like US don't have nhs they have health insurance instead so, like with our car insurance, if u don't have insurance or ur insurance doesn't cover it then u have to pay
Avatar f tn You are getting a great deal. On SOC with my insurance, I paid $100. for the peg/interferon and $40.
