atripla

Avatar m tn There was a few months (from December 2012 until about June 2013) i was off the meds due to my insurance/cost etc. Back in October 2012 i had all my blood was negative for syphilis and all numbers were great. In March i had a sinus/ear infection went to the Doc and he gave me Bactrim and ear drops at that time, ears never cleared up so went back in May (since they weren't really bothering me other than hearing) noticed no signs of anything else....
1012649 tn?1256229718 Hi. My doctor recently changed my meds from Atripla to the same combination but in two tablets which is Sustiva and Truvada which has emtricitibine in it too. I checked, and these are the same ingredients in Atripla. He changed it because I had a "blip" in my viral load. Viral load was at one point after taking Atripla "undedectable" for about 10 months, then went up to 45 then 3 months later tp 65.

Avatar m tn so i have stopped trustiva ( atripla ) after 4 ays of consumption ( 4 tablets ) ... have i done right by stopping trustiva ( atripla ) .... Pls give me ur valuable advice and suggestions..
Avatar f tn I started meds fairly soon after. I started Atripla in 2010. It got be undetectable quickly and has kept that way. I never had major bad side effects on it. I did have some crazy dreams and still do. After I was on it for a couple years, things began to slowly deteriorate. I began getting panic attacks, and bouts of tachycardia and palpitations. I had a history of those but it seemed to get worse.
Avatar n tn The difference between the full cost of a treatment (which the uninsured often are charged), and the amount the insurance company tells them they will pay is often quite a bit. If you have cash and offer to pay up front (for a discount) you may get charged less than what they can get out of the insurance company, because it's less hassle and instant money for them. Just a thought, even if you had to borrow the money. Will your Endo accept results from another facility?
Avatar m tn nPEP success rate is 86% apx.
Avatar n tn I took that to a specialist who saw the test, looked me over and gave me Atripla to start to be safe. She also sent me off for more tests, elisa and others. I also now took a PCR DNA thats not back yet. I went to a free clinic that gave me a rapid test that came up negative. I am wondering if four days now of Atripla could cause that to be negative? I am wondering if Atripla after four days will make my DNA PCR test invalid?
1470597 tn?1286869087 But when Atripla cost about $1500/mth,and you have stock in pharmaceuticals...However,I have found out that Germany has a few pt's rights and one is the right to med. records.Minus Dr.'s notes.I am not a denialist, but you don't know the entire story. And there are approx. 60 factors that cause FP in Elisa/WB,and vbiral load testing is not specific to HIV.VL tests don't even have the ability to isolate or measure actual viruses.
Avatar m tn Late at night on 6/11, I had brief unprotected insertive vaginal intercourse with a 22 year old CSW (stripper in Vegas) of unknown risk. I've read on this site that very few CSWs in North America are HIV positive, but she was Asian (she said Japanese, but I don't really know) with a pretty thick accent, so I don't know how long she has been in this country. The potential exposure lasted no longer than 30 seconds and there was no ejaculation.
Avatar f tn 10 plus thousand dont go to other countries you will use the extra money with travel cost.
Avatar f tn Hey guys....my birthday is on the 10th of this month and I will be 21. So next year I will be 22 and I'm still in college and of course I'm diabetic. My parents insurance over cover me until I'm 22. What's a good insurance for diabetics and how much will it cost because I can't go not being uninsured. I can barely keep up with what my insulin and strips cost now WITH insurance.
Avatar f tn The cost of post-transplant drugs depends on your health insurance coverage and if the meds are on their formulary. You can call your insurance company and they can give you the exact prices now. Keep in mind formularies can change usually during end of year and beginning on year. So what is covered now may not be covered next year. Also many post-transplant drugs have generic versions. Liver transplant centers usually have their own preferences for drugs and generic or not.
Avatar f tn Insurance usually picks up the cost of this. Double check but I doubt you'll notice an out of pocket expense if you have health insurance if you do it at the hospital.
Avatar n tn Thanks Liz, so I don't have to take these PEP tablets (Atripla)? It cost me quite alot. And on another note, I know you guys do not approve of PCR RNA tests...but how reliable can a negative PCR test at 10 days post exposure be?
1036535 tn?1278502599 Looking at the EOB from insurance they repeatedly charged me for something that cost $89.72. The only thing I got more several times was Pepsi, and I know an 8 oz. can doesn't cost that much ;) I can't believe the stupid insurance company paid this right away, but haven't paid other, more legitimate things without a fight!
Avatar m tn Atripla is not a good choice then.
Avatar n tn My partner was exposed to hiv during anal intercourse and is currently taking my Atripla. I am undetectable. Should we continue the Atripla or should he be on nPEP at all ??
Avatar n tn My husband has no insurance. He has been in A-fib, off and on, since 1997. He has been converted several times. Most recently his doctor told him that real damage is being done to his heart and he needs to pursue the ablation. Is there anywhere in the country that does them for a reasonable price?
Avatar f tn Anyways, the rep told me that ribavarin only comes in 200mg and a 3 months supply would cost me $10.00 co-pay. The peg/interferon would be a 30.00 co-pay for a month. This was the pharmacy and member service that said that. Does this seem right? I always thought tx was expensive like in the thousand of dollars. I have Kaiser but I don't have the deluxe plan or anything just the basic.
Avatar f tn Beyond annoyed. With my first pregnancy I had blue cross and it only cost $200 a month for my husband and I. And it was absolutely amazing. Now with this one we have aetna and since all the crazy healthcare act junk it cost us over $500 a month. And they don't even cover my 20 week anatomy scan. It goes towards my deductible which is extremely frustrating. Pretty angry I pay so much every month to make other people's lives easier essentially only to haveto stress about money myself.
Avatar f tn Yes you do, here in the UK we have the nhs so we don't have to pay, but other countries like US don't have nhs they have health insurance instead so, like with our car insurance, if u don't have insurance or ur insurance doesn't cover it then u have to pay
