What are your current thyroid hormone levels? Be sure to post reference ranges with results, since ranges vary lab to lab and have to come from your own lab report. You should be getting tested periodically for TSH, Free T3 and Free T4. Do you have other symptoms of over medication, such as weight loss, diarrhea, tremors, etc. Do you have Hashimoto's?

Just taking an amount over the prescribed dose is NOT the definition of an overdose.
Overdose Of Paracetamol often shows NO SYMPTOMS within the first 24 hours after the overdose. In some cases although there may be mild nausea and vomiting. If the overdose is large then liver function may start deteriorating leading to either of these; jaundice, confusion, and loss of consciousness. Death due to overdose of Paracetamol is rare but when it occurs it is in majority of cases due to liver failure.
m on BP medication (avapro 150mg). My BP is usually in check running around 118/70. No family history of heart disease (except Dad passed away from cardiomyapthy, was determined to be a non-genetic virus that attacked his heart).

You may have a tolerance for high blood sugar and a drop in the glucose can cause the hypoglycemia symptoms even though the numbers can be high. Have you try crystal light drinks?
I am not suicidal. I am being prescribed Lithium daily. I like to know as much as I can about my meds. I know the lethal dose of lithium is about 5gs or 5000mgs which is about 5 times what I am prescribed. I also have looked up the symptoms of lithium toxicity (not fun). But I can't seem to fine anywhere how long after a lethal amount or a small overdose (such as 1 accidental extra dose) on top of toxicity symptoms would start to show or when death would take place.
s have been abnormal. I found another Cardio who is suppose to be one of the best but now I am wondering. My symptoms are: SOB, feet, ankle and lower leg swelling, upper abdominal swelling (looks like I am ready to deliver) fatique, wheezing and coughing. At times I will get a spell of lightheadness and a fast heart rate at the same time. I have to hang onto things when this happen. The doctor said I must be having anxiety attacks. I do not think so.
Good Lord, what was that doctor thinking with that huge boost? That is NOT how thyroid med adjustment is done.
That said, I don't think it would cause a spinal lesion. That's coincidental. But it would definitely cause those hyperthyroid symptoms you were experiencing. I'd think that any sensory symptoms from thyroid imbalance would resolve with restoration of appropriate levels.
It certainly sounds like hyper symptoms to me, but you should be monitored closely and tested with any dosage change. Call your doc and describe your symptoms and ask why you haven't been tested to check the effectiveness of your new dosage change. You should have been tested at 6 weeks!

ijust started taking pills for thriods (synthriod)and high blood presuer (avapro)about a mounth now. so just wandring if this can cause me to have lows like this. and would like to know what would happen if you go to low like a coma and no one is around to help a person to get out of a low thats realy bad. thankyou.

t have diabetes, it can cause an unsafe drop in your blood sugar. This drop can cause the symptoms that you describe, and if left untreated, could also lead to coma and death. balance and coordination problems, unsteady gait, spine and head movement (an easy rocking and a strange feeling from top to bottom of spine). From what I feel i think the all problem is about spine ....
May be this a form of ataxia?
