I have been taking Avanza 30mg since June 2007. I have sorted through most of my issues and am now attempting to stop taking this medication. I have been trying for months now. I started by going to 1/2 tablet every day, then 1/2 tablet every second day and so on and so forth. I am now taking 1/4 tablet every 4th day, but by the 4th day I am itchy as all hell, as soon as I take the tablet it stops within the hour.
I really want to stop taking this medication, but the itchiness is killing me.
Hi I have recently as in 14 weeks completed 24 weeks of Pegasys treatment and about half way through treatment Ichanged ADs from Zoloft to Avanza as zoloft wasnt agreeing with me. About this time my GGTS went higher than they have ever been (up from nornal to about 300) and dragged the ALTs and ASTs with them and stayed at that high level. I am having a blood test next week to see if they are back to normal. My medical team wasnt sure what caused the rise.
Hi there, I have been on Effexor XR 300mg for a number of years plus Avanza at night. These meds have been very effective until the last few months when I've slipped a little. I am morbidly obese and that has been getting to me as well. My doctor has now taken me off the Avanza at night and prescribed 15mg Reductil to take with the Effexor in an effort to perk me up a bit and help with the weight.
I was on zoloft 100 for about a year then my business went under and lost money as well as a few other things,when all of a sudden i started feeling sick(sweety palms,no sleep,ect,i went to my doctor and he said to change to zembolta but that made it worse,so i went back to zoloft,i had to go and see a psychiatrist who put me on 150mg then also avanza 30mg,the fist day i was great then slide back so he put me on 200mg and 30mg avanza felt great for one day then back again,so at the moment i have
I have had insomnia as well for more than 2 years and had Avanza which helped with sleep but I wanted to sleep half the day and night and also eat a lot and gained 10 kg. Now I'm on Effexor XR 75mg for 4 weeks and felt good for the first few days like a new person and then went back into depression after 2 weeks.
I still can't sleep and my dr has given me temaze but sometimes that doesn't help.

s mean to be, it will happen no matter what, but be realistic that distance can either make the heart fonder or apart. I live in Chicago and my fiance lives over 1 hour away in a far suburb and it doesn't make a difference. He comes over for dinner. we meet for breakfast and spend time together, so it is possible....go ahead and invite her out...
I also had two beers that evening and 60mg of avanza. I had a terrible nights sleep with severe nightmares and a terrible headache in the morning. since then the headache presisited for about 9 days and is still like a mild throbing. I also feel a slower than usual and when I try to concentrate on work etc I feel a burning sensation in my head. Also I have trouble remembering some recent events in detail. My question is could I have caused permanent brain damage?
Hi, its me again sorry to bother everyone, but, I have been very very depressed over the past few months, as you all know I have the missed heart beats and so on, I have been seeing a pshychiatrist for the depression, doc has just changed my medication from Avanza to 'Cymbalta' has anyone heard of this drug, he said it would be very safe, but I dont know how it will effect my ever ectopic heart.
I was on Avanza for sleep but all it did was give me horrific dreams, so I gave it about 6 months and still the same problems so I took myself off. But now I am back to very patchy sleep, I am tired during the day. I have gone to sleep twice at the wheel of the car and beleive that I was already dreaming before I fell asleep. But this bed falling has me tossed. It has happened before but nothing like now and I am going to injure myself soon.
My boyfriend leaves for work at 230pm and doesn't get home until 3-4am.. will sleep until 1130-12. I only get about 2 hrs a day with him and that for me isnt enough. I hate not being able to have a sit down dinner with my family. My 3 year old keeps me company tho. I just know it will be hard next month when new baby comes.

I have had regular blood test. This past year my labs are showing Thyroglobulin AB present, in the first of the year they were low .5 now they are 24.6. I was always told that since I do not have a Thyroid I should not produce any if not little. My Endo is saying his labs are showing that there are none present and my Naval labs for the last year are showing it present. My TSH level is 0.01 and is low. Since then I have developed a huge mass on the left side of my neck and in my arm pit.
Thyroglobulin ab (TGab) is a test to measure antibodies. You have a slightly elevated antibody count. That means you have the potential to develop an autoimmune throid condition.
That's not good news, but it does not indicate cancer in any way. Your doctor is right in waiting to treat you if your thyroid levels are in range.
The only advice I can offer is to ask for a copy of the thyroid tests so you can look at them at home. Your TSH can be high and still be in "normal" range.
I'm 36 weeks, 2-3 days (my doctor's office says I'm a day ahead of what my app says) and every so often, I get this feeling in my abdomen as if I have just completed in "Insanity" style ab workout. I've got that burning, tense abdominal muscle sensation. It's hard to describe it's not exactly like contractions, it's more like a constant tense feeling.
Has anyone else felt this being in their 3rd trimester?
on the side of my neck is quite a bit larger then the other side. My thyroperoxid AB levels are 38.1 (normal 0-8.9) I am terrified that I may have cancer. I am going to see an endo. doctor but I want to know what to expect when I go in? Can someone tell me what this could be...cancer?
Is these high levels common with cancer? I have NO idea how these number work and I am worried...any peace of mind would help.
