hi, ive been on 60mgs a night for 7yrs of the old avanza, but it really works for me. i havent tried to come off it but if i were you i would try an over the counter anti-histamine,phenergan is generally most effective but might make you sleepy. you only need one a day so take at night. maybe some soothing anti itch cream keep it in the fridge and rub it in when its at its worse.

ve been taking avanza for a couple of months. I really like it, like you I have no nausea and sleep really well. I'm still having monthly rapid cycling (Im bipolar II) but the downs are no where near as bad. As in, I can get out of bed and function as a human (mostly) ha! I'm finding I'm having trouble with the anxious mania type thing as part of my cycle. No, I didn't have that. We actually didn't find out at all before I gave birth for the surprise factor! What we did for clothes is that we got gender neutral clothing. But you know, babies do not need a lot and it will be on sale again when you need it. Save your money, get a few basics. And remember, you often get baby gifts after you have the baby and those usually consist of clothing items. Second hand stores are awesome too for baby needs once born.
