I was prescribed doxycycline and cipro and it seemed as if the swelling was going down and the pain was easing. After a few weeks, I ended up back at the ER 8/25 from pain and learned that the epidiymitis was caused by an UTI that must've occured after surgery. The doctor prescribed me doxycycline again. Things seemed to normalize but after I decided to seek other counsel.
The infectious disease doctor did not want to treat them , in fear of me getting c-diff. Since 9/15 i have been on ceftin, bactrim, doxycycline, amoxycillin augmentin , zosyn, cetamadine, gentamyacin, zithromyacin and cypro. I just seen my pulmanologist due to a cough she gave me ceftin i finished that on 4/18/2016. She sent me for another sputum test , i did the test on 4/22/2016 . Now the results show the same infections above plus the pseudonomas still active.

the doctor gave me 1 gram of zithromax and 1 week of doxycycline 200mg per day, and 1 week of flagyl 600mg per day. the followed by 1 week of augmntin 2g per day to cure the haemophilus parainfluenze. My question is it is a month already and the redness still did not go away completely and my muscles still ache and my temperature is still at 37.2 to 37.3 C. Could this be a sign of HIV? or any kind of STD at all?

I am on birth control pills (never really had a problem with them) and for the past few weeks I have been on 2 different antibiotics (Augmentin 875mg) and (Doxycycline 100mg) I am also supposedly positive for Lymes Disease. I had unproteced sex with my boyfriend at like around 1:30 or 2 am and during and after I had bleeding until about early afternoon the same day (today) I feel like I have cramps.
I was wondering if anyone else has taken Augmentin. I was prescribed it for a double ear infection. Originally I was given acetic acid drops but they aren't working.
I plan on calling my OB in the morning to double check. They are pregnancy category B. Although they are thought to be safe not many studies have been done on them. I'm nervous about everything. This is my first pregnancy and I am only 18.

After about 4 days of this I went to the doc and he thought I had a sinus infection so put me on amoxicillin. That did nothing so put me on Augmentin. By this time I had become very shaky, still had a low grade fever (usually comes on in the afternoon). There were a couple of episodes early on where I was shaking uncontrollably and felt so cold. I took my temperature during one of these episodes and it was very low (97).
My 21 month old daughter got what looked like 2 bad mosquito bites 11 days ago. Over the course of a few days the "bites" got redder and bigger. The pediatrician said they were spider bites. After that, she developed an oval shaped patch that encompassed both bumps. The bumps went away and there are two punctures in their place. The oval shape is a rough texture and has gotten redder and larger for days.
no improvement, went to ENT who thought it were my tonsils.

The next day, 48 hours after I took 4 augmentin pills 875 mg. I’ve read on the internet they work against gonorrhea.
I month later in may I had a stinging in my penis and I started to freak out because I had sex with my wife. And I am so afraid that my wife has an infection or pid. In oktober my wife needed to that Zithromax 1.5g over 2 days for an infection of her ear. I then also took Zithromax 1.5g and doxycycline 100mg 2 x a day for 5 days against possible chlamydia/ngu.
If she has Gonorrhea in the Throat what would the chances of me getting it? I also have 3 100mg of doxycycline. So right after she finished giving me oral sex i took one, If i take the rest of them right as soon as it happen what are the chances of me being ok vs. not ok?

It may be Augmentin or it may be something else. I think you should mention this to your doctor.
m not medically trained, but I am not sure that amoxicillin is effective in Lyme. Doxycycline is sometimes used, but my Lyme doc didn't use it.
It's never too late to treat Lyme. It's a nasty disease, and going after it early and hard is the right thing to do. And don't forget those possible co-infections.
I am on a 30 cycle of doxycycline for an unrelated matter. Wouldn’t this kill chlamydia & gonorrhea?
Those are the things I think I’m most worried about. Day 3, no symptoms.
We have several kids and my wife was told she had HPV during one of those pregnancies.
4 days on augmentin 825 for a chronic dental infection (now a bone infection), I started having major swelling in my hands. This is new, I've never had swelling like this. Yesterday my one hand looked freakishly red and swollen. It was so swollen, that when I straightened out my hand (which was difficult), everything turned white, inbetween the redness.
Anyway, I tried going off the augmentin (I'm taking it in conjunction with clindamycin), and today I feel much less swollen.
