Treated with Omnicef, Augmentin, Cliacin, Rocephin Shots, Bactrim, etc. Also on Claritin/Singulair at 10 months for sinus/allergy issues. -Myringotomy at 12 months, with 10 day run of Augmentin and 6 day run of antibiotic ear-drops post-op. -2 subsequent ear infections from 12-16 months. Treated with Augmentin, Bactrim. Still on Claritin/Singulair for sinus/allergy issues. -Second myringotomy and adenoidectomy at 16 months. Very infected sinus cavities and ears.

Hello, I am desperately seeking answers to my 7 yr old son's problems. About 8 weeks ago, he started complaining of tummy ache after school. Within a couple of days, he also started having headaches always on his forehead. The ped. put him on Amoxycillin due to a possible sinus infection. He also had bloodwork done and his T4 and TSH came at borderline. He responded to the Amox. for a few days and the headaches returned.

My chest x ray is normal but the doctor could not do a pft because of my continuous cough at that time. My blood work for pneumonia diabetes and cholesterol are all good. sinus CT scan is normal too. I was also prescribed augmentin for a sinus infection around 20wks. It is a very strong drug that comes with lots of side effects. I got very sick from the effects of it and was switched to amoxicillin.

I went back and got prescribed augmentin. I have been taking it for 3 days and now i have a pretty bad nasal drip going on in the back of my throat.
