So im 20 weeks nd my doctor has already given me my registration papers for the hospital but i feel 20 weeks is a little earlie to register im jus curious as to how many weeks where you ladies when you registered for the hospital

I have not. :/I'm 36 weeks, 26 days to go. I lost some of my mucus plug last night. It got me nervous lol. So I'm taking the papers today. My doctor said it's best to asap because it saves you time and you don't have to wait for a room. Also it takes a couple of weeks for the papers to go through the system etc.

I live in Seattle right now but will be moving out of the city to somewhere quite a bit smaller, but no matter what I told my fiance that we will be going to one of the 2 hospitals which are both in the city.

I toured around 22weeks and I turned in my registration papers at 32 weeks. Im 35 now.

Has any of the hospitals y'all have or are going to told you that they don't do pre-registration for delivery? The hospital I am going to said that they don't do that and I'm thinking so you make women who are in labor sit there and fill out a bunch of paperwork before you taken them back. That is the craziest thing I have ever heard and was just wondering if any of you other ladies have heard that?

My hospital hands out the papers whenever you pre-register (pre-registration is basically mandatory) because parents had kept asking for more time to fill out the papers

You do the registration papers before you go into labor, usually several weeks before you are due. That will include your info, insurance info, allergies, doctor info and a form stating if something were to happen would you want to be revived and or supported with machines.

I got both my dogs online off a website called Kijiji I guess it's like the Canadian Craig's list they both came with vet records and my Eskie even came with full Kennel Club purebred registration papers. Maybe it's just in Canada we Canadians love our pets mostly. Cant lie we have had the odd puppy mill but even puppy mill dogs come with papers.

Side note- anyone dr give them their pre-natal papers yet? I got mine on Monday she said if I go into labour or have a car accident I HAVE to bring them to the hospital, she said bring them to all my appointments with her as well so they can continue filling them out. Isnt it a bit early for me to have these? It kinda scared me!! does she think I am going to go early??

When you go into labor and have to fill out papers, do you right your babies name or tell them?
