I haven't been seen since 8 weeks due to no health care but my next appointment is on Tuesday I'll be a little over 15 weeks do you think they'll do an ultrasound? I am so overly worried ftm and hoping to hear the heartbeat at least just to know everything is okay. I haven't even gained a pound in fact I've lost weight and just get scared.

Yes, the pharmacies and the health plan decision makers are very busy because so many people wanting treatment plus the millions on newly insured because of ACA and medicaid. My VA doctor prescribed me SOV/RBV on Feb 5 and said I probably would start treatment within 2 or 3 weeks. Was then told a few days later that it might be up to 60 days or more. On March 5 the treatment NP & pharmacist were hoping I could start at my next appointment April 2. So do I.

So true ! I wish there was App for CBC/CMP for my i-pot and why not ? Would`nt it be great you could check your bloods at home just like blood pressure blood sugar ect....... Also check your iron , vit D ect.... you would have much better control when to cut back sodium ect... But that is just it CONTROL. You are a man after my heart. Why is the US so behind in health care? Why can't we get universal health care? I guess it is the profit issue. I found it interesting that Switzerland solved the issue by making it illegal to make a profit on basic health care.

and all the ER s in nearly every area and city there is a clinic run by Public health ,has been for many years I know of most Mexican workers who get good health care that way. On yesterdays news they informed us that they are re thinking the age for mammograms as I prevoiusly said happens in UK its going to be 50 ...and thats before the OBama care gets in ...so it begins .

I was just wondering if anyone else has had the experience of health care providers who have some personal experience with hcv that they talk about. With only a couple of exceptions, everyone in the medical field who cared for me through diagnosis and treatment was exceptionally kind to me. And I had a few who told me about their own hcv experiences. I had one doctor with a best friend who achieved SVR on monotherapy.

They may also suggest some other places you can go to for health care according to your situation. If your chest pains get too bad go to the ER. They can't refuse you. At least I don't think so.

Is there anyone else in this group with military health care?? Not getting much of a say about when scans or done. I also recently had hip surgery in July and have hard wear in my hips. Not sure if natural is a good idea but worried military will glance over the problem and do what's easier or cheaper. Thoughts.......

ve had nothing but wonderful experiences with my obgyn. We should really be grateful for the health care we have. Sometimes it seems slow and annoying, but being pregnant everything has gone smoothly and wonderful. Any other Canadians feeling pretty happy about how easy we have it through pregnancy?

Hi, I was on the pill Apri for a little over a yr. Had a laparoscopy and hysteroscopy for endo, a polyp and a cyst. After that I wanted to try for a baby. Anyways, I stopped my birth control the same day I had my surgery and I've never had a problem. I'm not sure about everyone but that was what happened to me. Everything was fine. I had surgery on June 25th, 2010 and so it's been almost 3 weeks. I hope this helps. Good luck, take care!

I'm 25 yrs old, and was on the Apri bcp for exactly "A WEEK," when I notice that my scalp felt like it was burning and it was itching badly. I went to check my head if it was lice or so, and found out that I had a dime size bald spot. I immediately stopped taking the bcp. It's been exactly one month now that I've been bcp-free and still notice that I am shedding tremendously, hair thinning, and found 3 more bald spots.
