The doctor then put me on reclipsen and told me to start the pills the same day of my implanon removal. now i have tried several birth control methods since i cannot for the life of me remember to take a pill daily, but i liked none of the BC methods so i decided to suck it up with the pill.i dont mind getting pregnant again anyways, i was basically on BC to help control period flow.
So recently I have been put on the reclipsen birth control pill and I'm almost done with my third month, it's been working good and I really like it. However, I am going to the health department to get the rest of my pills for this year and they are taking blood work. I haven't done any drugs in over a month( I've only ever smoked pot no hardcore drugs) but I have drank.

As Stephen suggest, test your platelet count (you shall get results the next day) and calculate your APRI score:

If platelet count (APRI) is normal then you should repeat Fibroscan...but if platelet count is very low (APRI high) then I would go straight for biopsy...

This is my first month ever being on birth control and i'm on the 28-day pack pills called Apri. i started taking the last week the "reminder pills" 3 days ago and the way i understood it is that i'm supposed to get my period on the first day i took the reminder pills...could i be pregnant or is there something else wrong?
I have been taking the pill at about the same time everyday and have not missed a pill yet. My boyfriend and I had sex on Sunday night and starting Monday morning I have been having lower abdominal cramping. It felt like "ovulation cramps" and today (thurs) I had a discharge that was like ovulation. I thought being on the pill stopped your body from ovulating?

Due to the pain and the depression I suffered while on Ocella I switched to Reclipsen. I still have slight breast tenderness the week before my period, but it's so slight that it doesn't even bother my that much. Some months, I don't even have the pain at all.

I had some really odd symptoms with Yasmin and begged my dr to take me off of it, since then I was on Apri, which is just generic desogen. Initally did much better on this one so I'm not sure how yaz/yasmin works but I can say my withdrawal bleed "period" got way longer on it- I used to only bleed for 4 days on Aleese, then gradually this increased and due to weight gain and water retention switched to Yasmin...
I switched pills about a year ago now to Reclipsen and now Enskyce because they changed the manufacturer. This has a fairly high does of estrogen because I suffered breakthrough bleeding on every other pill I've taken, but I noticed that once my bleeding stopped, the itching started. Has anyone else had this problem with their birth control? I'm considering talking to my doctor but I just wanted to first see if this could really be causing it.
