Did you mean you have pain in the right upper quadrant of the abdomen? Right upper quadrant pain and white stool could indicate disorders in the liver or gall bladder. If you have jaundice then it could point towards an obstructive disorder like gall stones. Burping could be due to the diaphragm getting irritated by the inflamed liver or gall bladder.
Also the pains in my abdomen seem to get worse when i eat or after a night out drinking. Then the pain gets very sharp and spreads to the left side and lower left of the back, i get hit by a sudden feeling of weakness and have to lie down.
What are the possible causes of this pain, and could it be linked to my other symptoms?
p.s. i am fully aware that this is not a diagnosis, it is just to know wether or not i should get this checked by my GP.

About five months ago, I had lower right side pain that lasted a couple days, and after several tests (including CT), the doctor said all I had were swollen lymph nodes and after a series of antibiotics, I was fine (no appendicitis). Well, the pain is sort of back and it has been for a couple of days. The pain is not constant nor severe. It really is kind of a pressure-type pain for a couple of seconds and then dissipates.
Lower right quadrant abdominal pain is also a sign of appendicitis. If you are laying on your back and press on the sore spot and you get a sharp pain when you press and it even hurts as you release pressure it could be appendicitis. Your pain may be unrelated to your pregnancy. Did they rule out appendicitis or even ovarian cyst or maybe even gas?
So currently not having major pain just slight discomfort in that area I was thinking could this be from the rough night I had due to drinking or so I go and check it out was kind of worried when I saw that it could be something pretty dangerous left untreated but I was also thinking if it was appendicitis I would probably be feeling alot more pain.
It will usually subside in the morning, but around noon picks up again and progressively gets worse throughout the day, nights are the worst. It feels as though someone is inside me, stabbing to get out, in a very localized place in my left lower abdomen. It comes in waves of pain, gradually increasing in severity, hits a peak and then drops to very little pain, that cycle will happen in about 30 seconds and repeat itself over and over.
Hi, the pain may not be related to colonoscopy. It could be appendicitis. The pain in appendicitis generally starts around the umbilicus and moves to the lower right quadrant of the abdomen. The other symptoms for Appendicitis are fever, nausea, vomiting and malaise. The other causes for pain could be urinary tract infection, pelvic infections, renal colic and sometimes bowel infections. It is mostly localized in my lower right abdomen, but as the pain gets worse it spreads throughout the lower abdomen and to my lower right back. The pain ranges from a tearing feeling to a stabbing sensation. The pain is so severe that I can not move. I also feel very nauseated and throw up throughout the whole ordeal. Along with the nausea I experience vertigo and am very weak. This episodes generally have a sudden onset, last about two hours and then they gradually stop.
My sister told me if i had appendicitis, my pain would be getting worse cuz my aPpendix pain has been going for like 2 months now but only once the pain was severe and that was in the morning.
Don't want to scare you but my sister had appendicitis, the pain started off as random sperts but suddenly got worse as the appendix started to split, she was rushed into hospital and they performed an emergancy opp. Some cases heal themselves, others don't like my sister's. I would ask another doctor; if they send you home again, just watch for ANY changes and monitor your temperature, urine colour and strength of pain over the next 2-3 days.
I tried lots of acid reflux medication, pain killers, probiotics, tried candida diet, gluten diet and currently staying away from wheat, milk and egg but still the pain is out there. Exercise makes it more worse and even sitting in the car because the belly touches the belt and also it presses. Even if gas is passed the pain gets 10% better but still the pain is out there. I don't eat spicy, no tomato sauce or greasy food. I know it will get worse.
I ended up going to the ER and they told me that I had a two inch cyst on my ovary and there was nothing they could do about it. I let it go for a few months and it keeps getting progressively worse so i just recently went back to the emergency room and they gave me another ultrasound but theres no cyst!! they said it couldnt be appendicitis because its been happening for 9 months. I thought it could be my gall bladder but they did a cat scan and saw NOTHING!!
Srump appendicitis is when the small portion of appendix remaining after an appendectomy gets inflamed again. You basically get appendicitis for the second time.
I'm more and more convinced that the pain comes from the cyst though... I was in terrible pain today and I thought that my ovary got torsioned or that the cyst ruptured, becsuse the pain was BAD. So i had an ultrasound. It turns out the cyst on my right side wasn't bleeding and nothing else was wrong...
I know it is related to these other condition. But I keep reading that a level after at 10 or over on CEA of 10.0 is most often not related to these benign conditions. In the past 4 months it has risen from around 5 to 7.2 to 8.8 to, now, 9.9. I have an ovarian mass that has caused a significant amount of pain and difficulty in my life and progressively gotten worse. I know it's hard to judge but has anyone had the experience of it rising and being free of conditions in cancer.
It is worse when I breathe hard, laugh, or bring my right knee towards my belly. I also have some pain pain in my back, opposite the pain on the front. My last menses was on March 23rd and lasted for 4 days. I take BP meds (labatelol) for moderately high BP, I have been diagnosed with PCOS, and was prescribed Victoza for that about 5 months ago. I take a prenatal vitamin every day. I am afraid I have appendicitis.
I am beginning to understand how so many people can become addicted to substances to try and numb things. This numbness and tingling NEVER goes away. It gets worse, and it fades to a low hum, but it is never gone. I have compared it to chinese water torture. It is slowly driving me insane but because it is not phsyical pain none of the doctors I have seen seem to take it seriously.
I know something is wrong with me! I don't want more medications to be thrown at me I want to be fixed.
