Avatar f tn I think you are saying that when your kids are on vyvanse they don't want to eat. But I don't understand the last part. When it wears off they act like ---what?
Avatar f tn m having relationship issues, money worries and have two small kids, but nothing has changed for the worse there. I also suffer badly from PMT/PMS and cannot seem to get it under control..... Right now the breathing is worrying me, it may sound like i have a lot on my plate but thats just a part of it, and thats just normal for me - LOL! what do you think? could the breathing be part of the anxiety problem? Or maybe something else??
Avatar f tn That's something you should ask your prescribing physician. Syndol isn't a medication used in the US. I had to search for a while just to find out what was in it. From what I can tell it's simply Tylenol, Caffeine, Codeine and a sedating antihistamine similar to Benadryl. Just by looking at the profile, I'm assuming it's prescribed for tension headaches? If you're trying to conceive, you may want to just try not using it for a while.
612551 tn?1450022175 I had prior to the vet visit above been given Wilson one half Benedryl 25 mg Antihistamine morning and evening, in the hope it would clear up the paw problem. A couple weeks of this did not produce any improvement. I then checked and saw recommendations to use 1 - 2 mg per pound. As Wilson is j20+ pounds my does level was low. I have decided to continue giving him Benadryl but now one 25 mg capsule morning and night. Hope it keeps his paws and general itch problems under control.
Avatar f tn Here's one for the books. My daughter has had a allergic reaction to an oral antihistamine she took for what appeared to be hives just below the right side of her derriere. This little bout of hives were taking their time going away and so she thought by taking the antihistamine it would help the process.
Avatar f tn Hi, my dermatologist has prescribed me a antihistamine for my itching and wants me to use it for 4-6 weeks. The med is called hydroxzine. I am concerned because i never heard of anyone using antihistamine for that long. Will this severly affect my liver? Please help!
Avatar m tn Yep....pretty crazy. I get home and my wife has to go to work and so I am on deck with my kids. It's not pretty.....
Avatar n tn Veramyst™ (fluticasone furoate) is a nasal inhaled corticosteroid (ICS) and, strictly speaking, not an antihistamine. As an anti-inflammatory medicine, however, has the potential to reduce histamine mediated inflammation, in a non-specific fashion. That it is not an antihistamine is evident by the very many studies of combination therapy, the combination of fluticasone with an histamine 2 (H2) blocker non-sedating antihistamine.
Avatar f tn Do not mix antihistamines though such as an oral antihistamine and spray. Ocean Spray does not have an antihistamine and will simply dry you out and is safe to use with an antihistamine.
Avatar n tn com will take you to all of the available antihistamine info. That same site also says that these antihistamine sleep aids are not for people with glaucoma or kidney disease.
Avatar n tn Look for signs of a concussion such as wanting to sleep right after. Check his eyes for any changes like dialation. My kids have gotten plenty of goose eggs so don't worry. Sometimes if they hit it in the right spot it can be pretty big! Best of luck!

I remember about 20 years ago, I last took an antihistamine and got flutters. Is there a connection between AFib and antihistamine, ie have others an opinion or experience of this?
17644146 tn?1458782868 I contacted the company and asked them if their Clear Eyes Pure Relief Multi Symptom Preservative Free eye drops had antihistamine (which I cannot take). Avatar f tn I sometimes have so much drainage that I have to take oral antihistamine, too. I hate it, because the oral antihistamine is so sedating.
Avatar f tn Honestly it sounds like an allergic reaction. Although I assume your doctor ruled it out. If it is just hormonal have you tried taking birth control pills, shots, or IUD to help control and balance out your cycle? Even if he's ruled out allergies, have you tried Benedryl or another antihistamine to see if it helps at all? Definitely look into something to help regulate your cycle, or maybe switch your current birth control as you said it's been happening the same time every month.
Avatar f tn Supplement with adequate antioxidants and vitamins, especially Vitamin C (3000 to 5000mg per day) which is a natural antihistamine. If your allergy symptoms worsen, increase vitamin C to 1000mg every 2-3 hours, back off the dose if you develope diarrhea. Take a potent multiple vitamin like My favorite multiple Vitamin / Mineral (AMNI® Kids Multi-Vitamin/mineral is a specially formulated for children ages 4 and older.
Avatar n tn I was diagnosed with reactive arthritis at age of 17. Today I am 32, and some months ago I adopted a cat from the streets. When he started sleeping in my room, I had to triple my anti-inflammatory dose for some reason. As if that wasn't strange enough, after I took an antihistamine to control my allergy to the cat, when I woke up the next day my pain was DRASTICALLY increased. It was almost like I didn't take any anti-inflammatory at all.
Avatar n tn You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin. You can take some OTC oral antihistamine medications like Benadryl or Claritin and see if it helps. For mild-moderate eczema a weak steroid may be used (e.g. hydrocortisone as dermacort), whilst more severe cases require a higher-potency steroid (e.g. clobetasol propionate, fluocinonide). Eczema can be exacerbated by dryness of the skin.
Avatar f tn omg I'm dealingwith anxiety too...I'm having panic attacks. they prescribed me an antihistamine?? if they said it's safe to take I see no reason why it shouldn'tbe...best luck to you...I know the feeling. can u let me know if it helps, maybe I will try it.
Avatar f tn s an antihistamine. Sometimes weaning down on the dose can help with that occurrence of increased allergy symptoms upon discontinuation. Here's some very basic information on zyrtec in kids https://www.healthline.com/health/childrens-health/zyrtec-child-allergies#talk-with-your-doctor Flonase is a bit different.
