Started the antihistamine day 6 after embryo transfer without thinking or consulting the dr.(i always took it during pregnancy and thought its safe but never at such an early stage of pregnancy). Tested positive BHCG day8 after transfer +hcg22 day11+hcg53 day16 hcg56 day18 dropped hcg36. Can the reason of miscarriage be the use of antihistamine ? can antihistamine stop implantation from continuing ?

My allergist told me to try Claritin tabs instead of gel caps but I took one after having my allergy shot and I broke out in hives again. Now all the pollen is out and my eyes are really itchy and red and I have a hard time seeing at work. I tried taking Atarax last night to see if that would help more than Benadryl. Big mistake since I woke up broke out in bad hives. I had to wait to get home to take benadryl since I am not 100% certain that Benadryl does not give me hives.

Coricidin contains a combination of acetaminophen and chlorpheniramine. Acetaminophen is a pain reliever and a fever reducer. They had given me a steroid shot and steroid pills to continue taking for about 8-10 days. Along with a antihistamine. They worked and rash was cleared up. The same rash appeared about 2 weeks later again i went to the doctor and they did the same routine (steroid and antihistamine). Cleared up again. Now 2 weeks later the same rash is back but not as severe. This time there is redness in my face as well.
t think to much of it because I was spending a lot of time in the sun. In the last month the patches have become pink and have spread to my chest and my upper thighs. When I'm sweating or really hot they really flare up and are very red and noticeable. They aren't itchy and are very small. It seems to be concentrated around my belly button which seems to stay pink most of the day, but sometimes fades to white, but much more pale than my natural skin color.

On day three I went to the doctor who ruled out shingles, and suggested I get tested for STDs and try an antihistamine. Tomorrow I will get tested for STDs, though likelihood that I will test positive for anything is extremely low. Antihistamines have done nothing.Tonight much of my scalp is sore, blotchy and sensitive, and the pain behind my ears and back of my neck persists. I’m worried. Do these symptoms fit any known of profile of possible ailments?
I'm experiencing the same thing... I had it with my first and now with this pregnancy... It's called cholestasis of pregnancy... Ask doctor to check your bile acid levels they might be too high... They will induce you at 37 weeks because its harmful for the baby...
