Can the reason of miscarriage be the use of antihistamine ? can antihistamine stop implantation from continuing ?

They present with lesions anywhere in the body and are relieved with end of pregnancy and anti-allergics. How are you doing now? Have you consulted an allergy specialist for your symptoms? Have you had any benefit from calamine lotion and antihistamine medications?

Avatar f tn not life or death type allergies, but sneezing, itchy nose and eyes, headaches. I take a one a day antihistamine to deal with it. .. but it says on the box not to take if pregnant. Im only 7 weeks, and have stopped taking them... but my allergies are horrible at the moment. All the sneezing is not helping with my morning sickness. During my last pregancey my symptoms actually went away but not this time... my question is can i take my antihistamine?
Avatar f tn I do have a Nasonex Spray but the doctor said i could use it but only if it was absolutely nessecary ie, the pain causing me to get stressed as that obviously isnt going to do me or the foetus any good. I left the surgery still unsure as to whether to use the spray. Do you know if a humidifier would maybe help with the irritation.

Avatar f tn I had cancer during my second pregnancy and a to use iv phenergan or promethazine (generic name) I was on 50 mg every 6 hrs pretty much constantly. My daughter was fine and we never had an problems in resulting from it's use in my pregnancy. Now I'm 32 weeks with baby #3 and I still use it, well pill form now thankfully. Cancer is gone, but I also suffer with Gastroparesis...so far so good.
