What kind were you taking?
My allergist told me to try Claritin tabs instead of gel caps but I took one after having my allergy shot and I broke out in hives again. Now all the pollen is out and my eyes are really itchy and red and I have a hard time seeing at work. I tried taking Atarax last night to see if that would help more than Benadryl. Big mistake since I woke up broke out in bad hives. I had to wait to get home to take benadryl since I am not 100% certain that Benadryl does not give me hives.
Someone on here told me that I should take an antihistamine such a levocetrizine or cetrizine. I took 1 Zyrtec and I felt fine for a couple of hours but my arms eventually swelled up and started to itch again. I'm not sure if it just didn't work or I didn't take enough because the pill was only 10mg. I drank enough to become intoxicated but the reaction this time was not as bad as before.
There is no stock standard level of overdose, It will depend on what other medications are being taken and if they interact.
Continue with your Vit D especially. This will be monitored and if they doc thinks you need to lower it, they will tell you, but rest assured you won't become toxic on the dose you take.
I've been prescribed generic Remeron since I wasn't having much luck with the SSRI meds. I've been off meds for about six months and am not having much success on my own. I'm also going for CBT (cognetive behavior therapy) for my anxiety and am going to my first group support meeting this friday. Has anyone had recent experience with generic Remeron? Don't know what to expect for sure but the SSRI side effects were miserable. Thx again, Thom.
I have. 62 20mgs if fluoxetine....i skipped a few days of my pills and want to take them all..what will happen?
I would say its more likely he would need to go to the hospital for APAP toxicity than hydrocodone overdose. APAP (tylenol) is mixed with the hydrocodone and is not good for the liver in high doses.
Just tell him not to go crazy and make sure he doesn't mix with alcohol or other drugs (besides weed), and he should remain alive. Might end up with a wicked addiction though!
m still a little dizzy and lightheaded when I stand up, but not as bad, so the likelyhood of the medication wearing off is pretty high. But now i'm starting to get some chest pain on my left side. I read on a website that when Adderall XR is crushed up it can cause damage to your circulatory system. Is this true? and what could the chest pain be? Am I in any danger?

That's a wide range of MG's. I was on Wellbutrin for about 2 years, 150mg and went off about a month ago. The doc said that it was an easy drug to stop.....somewhat, so I guess it's the first time he's been right. I was going back and forth between 75 and 150, and like you, even at that low dose I couldn't tell much appreciable difference. Being it's not a drug to get a high on, obviously it wasn't intentional on your part since there is no benefits that way....
What are your current thyroid hormone levels? Be sure to post reference ranges with results, since ranges vary lab to lab and have to come from your own lab report. You should be getting tested periodically for TSH, Free T3 and Free T4. Do you have other symptoms of over medication, such as weight loss, diarrhea, tremors, etc. Do you have Hashimoto's?
I'm just guessing here, but isn't it in general a bad idea to give a person *instructions* on how to overdose on a particular medication? Bixby didn't say, "My doctor has me taking x mg of this medication. Could that be too close to toxicity levels?" Bixby asked how many mg of that medication, alone or in combination with another drug, would cause an OD. Am I alone on this? Doesn't this set off alarms for anyone else?!
I took 90mg of klonopin and about 45mg of inderal. I awoke about 6 hrs. later. I then fell and hit the back of my head and was unconcious for a short time. I never went to the hospital. I still feel weird. I have anxiety. I feel confused and uncoordinated. Am I out of the red zone. My heart rate for the next whole day after the attempt was only 30 beats per min. My blood preesure was low, but not too dangerously low. My heart rate is back past 60 beats per minute.
