Do not mix antihistamines though such as an oral antihistamine and spray. Ocean Spray does not have an antihistamine and will simply dry you out and is safe to use with an antihistamine.

It can be even easier than that. You could alway ask your doc to try free samples of Nasal Sprays for rhinitis, sinusitis. If it works than you know what it is. Then you need to figure out why it happens like if it is allergy or sinusitis and treat it more specifically if you want to. Once way to rule in allergy is antihistamine like Benedryl. If you take an antihistamine and it stops it's more likely rhinitis.
If you ever experience heart or breathing problems then you will need to seek medical help. Antihistamine will reduce the allergy in most cases and can save lives. Many doctors will recommend carrying an Eppi injector just in case the allergy ever becomes life threatening as affecting your heart or breathing. Other wise Benadryl should do the trick. Food allergies can first start and last up to days after eating.
In fact, almost anything can cause an allergy. I find that the most effective antihistamine is still Benadryl. By the way, I have never had success with anti-fungals.
Clariton is an antihistamine that has something in it to keep you from getting drowsy (antihistamines normally make you sleepy and can be used for insomnia). I suspect it is the additive in the Clariton that gave you the headache. Some people react badly to it. If you want to try a standard antihistamine get Benadryl. If your symptoms go away then you know it is an allergy and not an infection. If it doesn't work, go to a doctor.
What is the best antihistamine for allergic eyes? I am experiencing worse eye allergy than sinus allergy this Spring, and I think it is due to tree pollen in this area of Texas. I have found chlorphenaramine maleate and benadryl do not help.
Allergies can definitely cause headaches. At least where I live, the allergy season is REALLY bad this year because of the late winter, so that could be having an effect on your head as well.
If you think it's allergies, maybe you could take an antihistamine and see if it helps with the pain?

It sounds like the antihistamine may be drying your skin or possibly you have allergy skin. You may have a food allergy contributing to your allergies. You could try eliminating common offenders, such as milk, soy, wheat, citrus, etc.
I have seen a new allergy doctor recently. 48 hours ago, I went for a visit for allergy skin testing. They performed the skin ***** test on my forearms then proceeded to do intradermal skin testing. I was allergic to all intradermal tests except dogs. This is not the first time I've had skin testing done so this was what I expected. I have attempted to google delayed reactions and intradermal skin test but not results.
Perhaps you are allergic to the preservatives in most of the antihistamine eyedrops such as Zaditor. Similisan Eye Allergy has a different type of preservative than Zaditor so maybe that's why it works for you.
Without knowing whether it's the preservative that's the problem, this may not help but a while back there was a discussion thread about whether preservative-free allergy eye drops were available.

They had given me a steroid shot and steroid pills to continue taking for about 8-10 days. Along with a antihistamine. They worked and rash was cleared up. The same rash appeared about 2 weeks later again i went to the doctor and they did the same routine (steroid and antihistamine). Cleared up again. Now 2 weeks later the same rash is back but not as severe. This time there is redness in my face as well.
Sprays either Nasarel or NasalCrom for my allergy and some other antihistamine that the doctor told to have which I really don't remember the name of the pills cuz I stopped taking it. Regarding the sore throat it have been like two weeks now and still did fn't go. Should I really go and visit the doctor?
Two things made a difference....accupuncture and 5 years worth of allergy shots. I went from a HIGH grass allergy to a mild one. The accupuncture was a surprise. I went for something else, and I didn't belive the accupuncturist when she said she would treat for my allergies, too. I was very surprised to find that was my best allergy season ever, even as many others complained about how bad it was. Without the antihistamine, I don't drag as much.
