Is it okay to take probiotics while pregnant? Ever sense I became pregnant I had a yeast infection then it cleared up and soon after I got a uti (still Have it) now I think my antibiotics are causing another year infect... ugh! I can't get a break here. Any suggestions??

So I went to the dentist The other day and they said I need to get my wisdom teeth pulled. Is it safe to get them pulled.

I just had a tooth pulled 2 weeks ago. I was on antibiotics for about 2 weeks also. They know what you can and cannot take so I would think your fine. Also my dentist made my ob fax over what I could and couldn't take and what was safe for me to have done. We're only allowed to have novacane. No laughing gas or anything which ***** cause I'm terrified of having teeth pulled but it wasn't that bad and I feel a lot better now! Good luck!

Is it safe to take the antibiotics Macrobid and Flagyl together? I'm 20 weeks and have both a UTI and bacterial infection. I know that my doctor wouldn't prescribe anything that would hurt the baby but there's still that lingering doubt in the back of my head that worries it isn't safe. Has anyone ever been pregnant and on both at the same time?

Has anyone undergone this while pregnant? What was your treatment? My Dr said it is usually treated with steroids, but because I am pregnant, they can't give me any. I am so frustrated with the run around and pain. I'm worried about the effects the antibiotics may have had on the baby. Today I will start juicing regimen, but will need to include some meals (for baby). Want to flush out out this infection, and boost my immune system.

It is on the safe list from my obgyn. I also researched it. Its fine in pregnancy. I'm just worried about a severe reaction that will cause bigger problems for me and my baby - throat swelling, etc.things that are highly unlikely. That's why my husband is irritated.

i dont wanna be pregnant for another 4 weeks while i am 1 cm dialated. it s frusrating cuz we dont have much money. we need more boy clothes and pampers and the money we have while staying our hotel room which is been paid by my mans band. but we need our money for food but need baby stuff still. my family and his family dont help with nothing. just my grandma helps with money and pampers once and a while. so i wanna make things easier and have baby soon.

Antibiotics usually don't have an effect on sperm, I've never read or heard that it does. As mentioned above, alot of antibiotics are safe to take during pregnancy.If you are still worried, talk to your OB/Gyn about it.

I wouldn't take it because it gets rid of all your good bacteria too. I got a few utis during my pregnancy and it went away within two days just taking this powder your mix in water called d-mannose which flushes your tract of the infection safe to take during pregnancy and also I took probiotics with it and drink lots of water. I've never had a uti go away so fast until I tried that.
