Ive had to severe bladder infections within a two week increment what can cause this? I waiting to see my doc but its frustrating and painful. I'm 35 weeks and 6days. The doctors office where I go have only student doctors and no one knows crap. Can someone help?

I was on antibiotics for a bladder infection I didn't even know I had. They say the infection could cause more problems then the antibiotics. (I guess preterm labor is the risk with a bladder infection)I've been taking cranberry pills since the infection to try to prevent future infections. Most importantly drink plenty of fluids.

Resently Doctor decided to take Urine test and found bladder infection and gave me CIPRO as an antibiotic. I feel rush under my ribs and pain in the back (right side). Do you think that this infection can cause that? I am still taking this CIPRO things and hope that this'll help. Do you know if lymph nodes can case pain or infection could go up from bladder and affect other areas? Please help!

Hi. My mom's puppy (16 weeks old) has a bladder infection. She's been to the vets and he gave her antibiotics. He also said that her urine is not acidic enough and gave her medication for that. She has to be re-checked in 3 weeks. However, he said she may have to take the pills for the acid for the rest of her life. Does anyone know of any alternative to this or what would cause this in a puppy so young? She is on the nutro ultra puppy food, so she gets good food.

A urologist offered a prescription for those same antibiotics i keep taking, but enough that i can treat myself whenever i feel an infection coming on. It is very important to flush the kidneys out very well if you have an infection. Not drinking enough even while on antibiotics will not help flush her kidneys out. Her pain may also be from straining to urinate or frequent urination. If she is not better by monday she should go back to the dr and make sure there is nothing else wrong.
