Also, i dont know if you know, but amoxicillin is an antibiotic which treats infections, i'm not sure why you would be using it for sickness (if i understood your question)
Took my boxer to the vet an hour ago, and have been told he has been poisoned by something, but I cannot think what. The only thing that fits into the timescale is the amoxicillin he was taking up to a week ago. He is showing all the classic severe side effects, lethargy, vomiting, diarreah, pale gums, no bleeding anywhere though.
Could the antibiotics he was taking be the cause?

Amoxicillin can cause lightheadedness and mental confusion. This should be reported to your doctor immediately!
If your baby girl must take antibiotics, ask for the shortest duration and smallest dosage possible for the treatment as long as it is safe to do so. Make sure it is for bacterial infection. It's the only thing that it can treat.
It does nothing for viral infections. Many doctors are not as vigilant as they should be.
Feb. 16th was the start of the crippling diarrhea. April 1st I made a trip to the walk-in clinic, unable to bear it any longer. Started Alinia (an anti-diarrheal medication, which I can't find evidence that actually does anything to kill the parasite, only treats the diarrhea) the next day. 50 mg for 3 days. The treatment seemed to work, but my GI tract still hasn't gone back to "normal". Since the crypto, I have been on 3 different antibiotics in the last 3 months.
can you take amoxicillin if it exspired in january of 2009, i dont have insurance and had a few left over from my teeth and need to take them if i can. could someone please help me with this?

So yesterday I went to the Dr for an ear infection and the Dr said it was pretty bad. He prescribed me amoxicillin 500mg 3 times a day for 10 days. He said it was safe but I am scared. I have called and left a message for my drs assistant. Waiting for a call back. Have any of you had to take this in this dossage?

I'm taking amoxicillin and my cheeks are very red, like i'm sunburnt, and very hot. It's only on my cheeks no where else on my face or body. I've been givien this same medicine many times and have never had this reaction, The only other thing I can think about is I was given a corticosteroid shot and nasal spray called Fluticasone. It's not shown as a side effect of the nasal spray, but could it be from one of these other medicines. Should I call my pharmacist or doctor?

I was told by a doctor I might have a chest infection so she put me on 500mg of amoxicillin three times a day. I'm also on diazepam for muscle spasms and anxiety. I cannot remember is she said it was ok go take them both together.
If ok to take together this will put my mind at rest and stop me panicing.

I just had a two week h pylori treatment using triple antibiotic one of is Amoxicillin. I was told that Amoxicillin has a minor side effect of hairy tongue.
