I also told him to pee before we did it so the left over sperm would be flushed out in the precum. I was supposed to get my period on the 26th but now it's the 28th and I still haven't gotten it. I usually have a 25 or 26 day cycle but this is day 28 which is very rare for me.

I’m late answering this but i was diagnosed with strep even though i suspected mono but the doctor put me on amoxicillin anyways. I had taken seven days of amoxicillin feeling the sickest i had ever felt but developed no rash so the doctor didn’t worry. After 7 days of being on amoxicillin my throat finally felt better and i did not feel sick anymore. I went to sleep that night and woke up at 5am itching and had developed a full body rash over night.
You chances aren't off the charts but yes there is a chance. Don't freak out with worry it could cause your period to be late and all kinds of other unnecessary things. Just get a test as soon as possibe and blood test are normally more accurate so if you don't trust the little pink line results go to the Dr for labs. And most antibiotics mess with birth contol so be careful!
Today, nine days after beginning to feel sick, I visited my doctor and was prescribed Amoxicillin 875mg tabs to be taken twice a day for the next ten days. My doctor believes I have a sinus infection, hence the Amoxicillin prescription. I did not mention my unsafe sexual encounter to my doctor and I am not having any outward symptoms of any kind of STD.
My question is, can you tell me what if any STD the Amoxicillin would cure if I did contract one from my friend?
I had just started taking Alesse for the first time and was only one pill in when I received the antibiotic (amoxicillin). I took it concurrently with the birth control for only two days, at 250mg a pill, three pills a day. I was then told I didn't need to finish the remainder of the pills, so I took my birth control normally every night at 10 30pm for the month without missing a single one or being late once. My period came as normal.

s son had the same rash and his doctor prescribed him amoxicillin 3x/day and said it had to be AT LEAST 14 days for lyme treatment. I looked online and that is what I found also. I am concerned my son was not on antibiotics long enough and that symptoms will show up later when it is harder to treat. Should I call the doctor back and try to get him on another 14 days of treatment or would that be too late at this point? Please any advice would be appreciated.

Is the amoxicillin still affecting the birth control?Would it be safer to continue taking them over the next week and skip this period or to go along like normal? I wouldn't jump to conclusions because of a change in her menstrual cycle. Taking hormones will change your cycle's normal routine. Stress will also make a women late. I've been over a month and two weeks late once because of stress or whatever. I mean it is possible, and I know amoxicillian can give false test results. So yes its possible. But it could be she is just dealing with an illness and her body is in stress.
Later that month I got a tonsil infection (something that happens frequently to me) and I went to a different doctor to get antibiotics for it. I mentioned the ongoing UTI to her and she prescribed me Amoxicillin with Potassium. She said it should kill two birds with one stone. A few days after being on antibiotics a weird rash appeared on my penis and after a day it turned into a sore.

Ok, so I'm 19 years old...I always have regular period lasting 4-5 days which they would be medium- heavy flow.
However I got my last period 3 days ago. I don't even know if i can actually call it a period....
it is like a very light brown discharge that is even barelyyyy there...
P.S. i used amoxicillin last month and i had alergic reaction to it...
My period is 6 days late. It is known for being irregular, and this past September, it was 6 days late and I ended up buying a test and the day after that, my period arrived. Last month it was 5 days early- so this is actually my usual time to get my period. I haven't tested yet, as i want it to be a full week after. I am scared about the result... I am young and my finals are coming up and I am not in a place where I want to be pregnant.

I took her to the doctor again today (1 week later) and they told me that she has erytherma multiforme caused from the amoxicillin. Can anyone tell me if the amoxicillin was the cause to this and how long it will last? Do you think it could be something else?
My cycle did come on while I was taking the antibiotics, but I did have sex one day before it started, and my period was about to come on anyway. Is there a chance that pregnancy could occur under those circumstances? I know antibiotics can affect birth control, and I have read that sperm can stay active for about 5 days in a woman’s body, so those are my concerns if the antibiotics affected the birth control that was in my system after having a possibility of sperm still there.

I am trying to get my daughter to take Amoxicillin for a throat infection. She won't swallow the capsule. Is it ok to break the pink and blue A45 Amoxicillin capsule in half and mix it in applesauce?
This sounds like it has 100% to do with the Amoxicillin, and not Mono combined with Amoxicillin and so forth.
Amoxicillin can cause joint pain although this is not a common side effect, but can occur and should NOT be permanent, but temporary.
If this hasn't subsided, this definitely needs to be further investigated by your physician.
For a period of about a year+ (starting late 2012), I had insomnia, body aches, low grade fever, heart palpitations and elevated blood pressure. 24 hours later I had severe and constant vaginal burning, and it was worse upon urination. I inspected the vaginal area and noticed a single red lesion right at the opening of the labia minora. Sore to the touch and left a brownish residue on tissue. I have been known to get frequent UTI's especially lately, initially this is what the symptoms felt like and it's what I thought was going on until I saw the red lesion.
