t ejaculate into me. I am on birth control pills (Yasmin) and I am supposed to stop taking them to have my period tomorrow (the 14th). Is the amoxicillin still affecting the birth control?Would it be safer to continue taking them over the next week and skip this period or to go along like normal? Or would you recommend an emergency pill just in case? I may be over reacting, but better safe than sorry. Thanks for your help!

Two main questions:

I had just started taking Alesse for the first time and was only one pill in when I received the antibiotic (amoxicillin). I took it concurrently with the birth control for only two days, at 250mg a pill, three pills a day.
I am very good about taking my birth control at 7 am every morning. On 1/17 I started taking my placebo for my birth control (which I only take 4 rather than all 7). So on 1/21 I started a new birth control pack and therefore started taking my active pills. On the night of 1/27 I had unprotected sex but he did not ejaculate inside me. Is there any chance I’m pregnant?
Hi there , so i currently had my wisdom teeth taken out and was given antibiotics to help any infection from coming and after a week of taking them me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex he did not ejaculate inside of me, and i have been and am currently taking birth control diane35 for about 3 years now? i also did not realize that amoxicillin alters the effectiveness of birth control.. am i at really high risk for being pregnant? i still have a bit to go till my period would come ..

I take the mini pill birth control and did not do any emergency contraceptive afterwards because I’m on birth control ,and the concerns kicked in about the antibiotics possibly affecting the mini pill birth control. As you mentioned before about ovulation not happening right before your period and during it, that brought on a sense of relief! Again, thank you!

Birth control pills are generally safe and considered a good option for many women to prevent pregnancy. There are different types and working with your doctor to find the best one is the thing to do. This is between you and your doctor but it is untrue that taking birth control pills 'has side effects on your whole reproductive system" unless you consider it doing what it is supposed to while taking it, preventing pregnancy.
suggested I go back on BC pills (which I have been off for about 4 years now) to see if it will help with symptoms. I started BC pills and took 1 month....I feel AWFUL. Horrible heartburn and nausea every single day. Heartburn so bad that when I lay down sometimes I feel like I'm going to throw up. I persevered and thought I would see if it worked itself out. After my 21 day pack was gone and I was on my week off.....all heartburn and nausea stopped.

Since you had unprotected intercourse but you are having birth control pills so chances of pregnancy are less. If you are apprehensive regarding the status of pregnancy then the status of pregnancy needs to be made clear. To confirm the status of pregnancy, I suggest you to test for pregnancy by a highly sensitive pregnancy test 10 days post ovulation with a sensitive ( 20 - 25 mIU ) pregnancy test.
I hust started a new pack of birth control pills this month. I used to take tri-lo-sprintec tablet generic for (ortho tri-cyclen LO) for the past 6 six years, but in Michigan we do not have it in generic form anymore. Therefore this month i started taking Eth estradi/norgestimate and I feel very lazy and sleepy all the time and I see that I have been gaining weight. My question is is what I am taking now the same as what I was taking before because that is what the pharmacy told me?
Im taking the birth control pills (TriNesa) I started my first time taking it Sunday 28(August) and I before that I didn't had my period for about 2 months. part of the pill, but my periods are really heavy and my cramps are awful!! Does a birth control pill stop the bleeding completely, or just extend the amount of times between periods? Also, I have read online that there are estrogen or progestin-based pills...is there one that will work better mainly for the purpose of decreasing my flow or stopping my period all together?
