I finished 3 courses of antibiotics in last two months, levofloxasin, norfloxasin, and Cefixime. Then I showed to a urologist in the last week and he put me on 30 days course of Alfuzosin. Not sure if is the antibiotics or the Alfuzosin that has worked but I am feeling 90% better now but the frequent urination persists. Erection feels uncomfortable and still mild pain at the penis tip sometimes.

Flomax is used for the treatment of BPH and if you are having side effects to this drug then you can use other alpha blockers like doxazosin, terazosin, alfuzosin or 5 alpha reductase inhibitors like finasteride and dutasteride.
Effects may take longer to appear than alpha blockers, but they persist for many years. But they are available under prescription and should always be taken under a medical guidance.

To ad a little beat of information i'm taking Bactrium and alfuzosin hcl er in this days. could they have cause a false positive? I was tested 3 month ago and at the time i was negative for Hsv-1 I haven't have any exposer with the exception with the one i described.
When I woke from anesthetic I was told my ureter was too small tohave the procedure and a stent was placed in my ureter in hopes of making it large enough to have the ureteroscopy in 10 to 14 days. Is this considered standard protocol? Is it considered a birth defect to have an unusually small ureter? Are there anythings that can be done to help alleviate the awful pain I'm in from the stent. My dr never mentioned I would have pain.

CT scan that revealed numerous stones in my bladder. Urologist said stones were forming in bladder. Stones are uric-acid based. My prostate was probably enlarged. Stones continued to grow in size, passing one 1-2 wks. Was given Sodium Citrate. 2 months later, passed 5mm stone. 24-hour urine collection said I hyperexcrete uric acid. Was prescribed 300mg Allopurinol and 10mg of Alfuzosin. Just passed another "giant" stone, but after 5 weeks. Desperate to stop these stones.
Its estimated that upward of 65% of the adult population would test positive for this. If she already has it she wont get it in the same area but could get it in another. HSV1 oral is not considered a sexually transmitted disease. You need to tell her you have it and she should test as well.
Your affair was a risk for gono, chlamydia, syphilis and hsv 1 and 2 and you should test for these before being intimate with your wife for sure.

Well honestly, that depends. I'm in the same boat you're in with wondering when to take a test. Some advice that was given to me was to take the test about 2-3 weeks after your missed period. But everyone is different, so it just depends on your body. If you take a test and it's negative, try to test again in a week or so. Good luck!!
