thankyou,i am with contact of my doctor ,he said there is no solution for damaged vertibras,but calcium and vitiman d and alendronate sodium/cholecaiciferol tablets will help spine and bones from further damages but what to do with prednisones i cant stop them because of asthma and taking of them will damage other bones isnt there any other solution instead of prednisones, i know there is nothing accept these because my doctor told me:(

I took my first dose of Alendronate and then experience significant muscle pain for the next 4 days. Does anyone know if I should expect this to happen each time I take it or is it something to happen for the first few times until my body adjusts to the medicine?
Do you mean Fosamax (alendronate)? If you do, its for treating bone problems like Osteoperosis by adding bone mass and slows bone loss. I use it for Osteopenia.
After years of relying on Gatorade, I started getting nausea and gastric discomfort with it. I then moved on to a generic Pedialyte. Months later the same issue came up, so now I rotate different brands (seems to help). I too assumed it was the sugar.

Yes,but only certain ones. Colace (or the generic Docusate sodium) is safe to take daily, along with glycerin suppositories (I would only recommend that after 3 or more days with no bm). The usual stuff like prune juice or Apple juice, increasing your water and fiber intake.
If you go to good RX it does not list a generic for Levoxyl. Synthroid of course is levothyroxin as it’s generic. There Hass to be a difference between the two drugs, I was told to get off the medication and have awful insomnia when I was trying to switch between the two and had a dose increase and I’m highly sensitive to medications in general.
The authors examined the effects of high-dose oral alendronate (40 mg daily) for 6 months on 3 adult patients with intractable headache due to fibrous dysplasia of the skull. Each patient had disease processes not amenable to surgery. The patients underwent clinical follow-up at 1, 3, and 6 months. I have several different strengths of synthroid (every time they change my dose, it seems like they do it right after I've refilled my script) and none of them say "synthroid" on them. They all have the strength (100,88,50, etc) on one side and appear to be blank on the other side (either that or my bifocals aren't working well tonight LOL).
Drink more water (I know, I know) and you can safely take a 100mg colace capsule (generic name is docusate sodium) once or twice a day. It's a stool softener not a stimulant or a laxative so it won't MAKE you go and won't stress out your almost-ready baby, either.
Also try putting your feet up on a low stepstool while you're sitting on the toilet. It puts you in more of a squatting rather than a sitting position which can make it much easier to go.

So a copy of a few of your tests would show if your sodium is low and potassium is low or high. The tablets I take are just sodium and are 1 gram so I get a big zap. My doc tells me to take one twice a day, and then as needed when I sweat etc.
I have also seen a cardiologist so not a bad idea.
Some people also get bad generic hydrocortisone.
A Florida State judge in an order signed January 28, 2008, ordered levothyroxine sodium off of the negative formulary list. That means pharmacists in Florida now have the ability to substitute generic levothyroxine sodium without patients' or doctors consent. The only way to ensure your prescription or refill order is honored to your specifications is to write "Medically Necessary" on the prescription.

What thyroid med has iodine in it? I've been on Synthroid, levo, cytomel, generic T3, and currently on Tirosint, with generic T3. To my knowledge, none of these meds have iodine in them.
I have been on Synthroid since that time and have been followed by an Endo. She told me to not take any generic form of Synthroid as it is not the same effect. She said she had had some patients who had a bad reaction to generic form of synthroid. My pharmacy filled my Synthroid Rx with Levothyroxin but I had them change it back. I know the generic is cheaper but afraid to change. I take 75 mcg per day. What is your opinion?
