Common Questions and Answers about Adult adhd symptoms survey

Avatar m tn I am wondering if that complete inappropriate behavior and lack of modesty may be associated with some ADHD symptoms considering he already shows these symptoms in other every day activity. Please give me feedback and don't be shy i can use all the help i can get!!
Avatar n tn Maybe we will all find out something new about the extra-hepatic symptoms of the virus. I am quite sure that many subtle symptoms of HCV are not noticed, nor correlated to the HCV by the medical experts. It is all too subtle, and they are chiefly focused on the Liver related issues to spend much time on other systems that might be imaccted. Thanks in advance for your input!
Avatar n tn I can be tired after 12 hours sleep! Can I be suffering symptoms from my thallassemia. Does any one else feel the same way that I do? This is a little bit hard for me, but I don't want to complain.
Avatar f tn Hopefully, you still are checking out this site. First, he does have many of the symptoms of ADHD- check out symptoms here - And if he does have ADHD, it is possible that he gets so involved in doing something that he doesn't get to the bathroom in time. That is somewhat common. The playing with it is kind of unusual.
Avatar n tn Would you consider the above behavior typical for a 7 year old boy or could he possibly have symptoms of ADDHD?
Avatar f tn I have tried it with my daughter who has Asperger's, and it actually made her worse. But, I had a child in my day care with an ADHD diagnosis and I could tell the second she walked in the door if she had her medication or not. If she didn't, she was so mean to her brother, constantly picking on him and hurting him, and she couldn't sit still to do anything constructive. If she had medication, she was the most wonderful person, and extremely artistically talented.
Avatar n tn org/add-adhd/articles/Dont-Believe-These-10-ADD-ADHD-Lies/5?page=2 So it is possible for her to have it. The question I always ask posters on the ADHD forum is what is she like at school? If she is having the same problems at school, then the possibility of ADHD exists. Of course, it is always possible that she has an inexperienced teacher who can't handle her - that's why psychologists do the testing and not teachers.
Avatar f tn I've since read up on SPS's and the symptoms are only vaguely similar and seeing as all three of us have the exact same symptoms I doubt it is a simple partial seizure. The symptoms are much to specific to simply be pushed into some vaguely similar preexisting disorder.
Avatar f tn Well, before my Dr caught my high TSH, and reading what symptoms were what. I think I experienced hyper symptoms with a high TSH, when I was on Levo, I accually had normal TSH but felt yucky, rundown, lazy. Now I have been off Levo for 6 weeks and I think I feel more hyper again. I have energy, quite the appetite. But I also feel normal, like before all this thyroid nonsence. I have to rest soon, not sure what it will say. The endo said I probably had postpartum thyroidis.
519226 tn?1378994921 How dare she treat me nasty and disrespectfully, even in front of my kids. I cannot stand her. I am an adult and deserve respect. I am non-confrontational and that is probably why things affect me so stressfully. I think back on so many instances throughout my life, things she's done to me, said to me, said about me, or how she's treated me, or has never been there for me. I clearly believe she blames us for being born.
Avatar n tn She is so exhausted that she can't fight no more against medical community in order to admit the origin of her symptoms and to push them to try to find a beginnning of solution. Is there any progress in the comprehension of the cause of these symptoms ? Are there some new treatments that appeared recently to counteract exhaustion and pains ? Do people group themselves in associations to better fight against this disaster ?
Avatar n tn I have also been getting headaches for about three weeks now and have never had headaches in my life but did recently start taking 10 mg of Lexapro. I am 26 years old and have no symptoms except for the headaches. They are sometimes extremely short and painfull and some are long and dull. Should I see someone before the 30th which is my next appt. or wait.
Avatar n tn I thought maybe a pinched nerve in neck could also cause , but anyway.. what other symptoms do you have . Mine is most likly diff than yours. I am getting a lumbar puncture .Take care and your not alone.
Avatar n tn For the past 4 years I have been experiencing horrible symptoms. It seemed that the whole thing started as a sinus infection but then I went for a CT scan of sinuses and they were clear. I have been having symptoms of dizziness, head pain, shakiness and a spaced out kind of foggy feeling like i am watching my life from the outside - all day every day. There are some times for a couple of hours during the day that the symptoms may lift and give me a few moments to live- but not much.
298579 tn?1192250448 Hi - I just stumbled upon this forum and was very comforted to learn that I am not the only one out there with this problem - Marisa1, I have the exact same symptoms as you described in your post! I have had this for about 8 years now and none of my doctors could ever seem to explain it. I was told to try and relieve my bowels before entering into a situation that would lead to having an orgasm....not really the best advice.
Avatar n tn Are we gonna make it like Rocky? Tingling 2 the Revenge? My suggestion on how to already known! Ok, I don't want to transform all of you in a bunch of drug addicted, but have you tried a tranquillizer just once? Just to see whether your tingling diminishes the moment you calm down? @rnneeedshelp: as my "colleague" has written, you are anxious over the symptoms, not the opposite, and the same is for all of us.
Avatar n tn The entire vaginal area is very itchy and if I scratch or rub the skin at all I often give myself one of these tears. It seems as if the skin is very thin. There are no other symptoms that I am aware of. I have had blood work and a biopsy done. Some of the things that I was tested for were; genital herpes, lichen sclerosus, lichen simplex chronicus, lichen planus, vulvar vestibulitis. All results came back negative. The biopsy tested positive for "healing ulcers".
Avatar n tn Whenever I start another treatment I have a short period of relief. It always comes back...longest time without symptoms 10 days. Like eveyone else, I have thrown all makeup, lotions, and soaps away. Washed sheets, pillow cases, and put pillow in the dryer. This has become debilitating and I am becoming depressed. I have a high profile job and don't want to be seen because I look like I have some awful disease. Can anyone suggest a next step?
Avatar m tn I posted this info before, but it was a reply to someone else's similar post... I am a 23 year old healthy male. I recently had a full physical and the results were that I am in above average health. I have no diseases, do not use drugs, but drink on occasion. Anyways, just started noticing these strange symptoms, within the past few weeks. Nothing "brought it on" so to speak that I can tell of.
